Just curious, what happened to Fred Beasley? Has he signed with anyone? Any chance of him coming back?

Beasley is Gone! signed with Miami. I was wondering for awhile too. it was a very quiet move for FA:sam:

Ah, he will... 'til Ronnie Brown pisses him off and he decides he's only gonna block for Travis Minor...

Thanks. I hadn't heard or read anything on him. Wasn't that long ago he was considered one of the best FBs in the league. Pretty quiet move.

If our old MB is up still you can look in there and see his post 49ers interview. He has some strong feeling towards our RB's coach bishop harris. He no longer wanted to be here AT ALL

Beasley did talk smack about Bishop, but he also said he would have gladly stayed without Bishop. I think that's what he said on the interview. I just wanted to add from what I remember.

Fred Beasley was past his prime anyways. He lost all passion to play with the 49ers the moment Garrison Hearst went to Denver. I'm just satisfied that he played very well during the winning seasons.

But he shouldn't have been such a cry baby and should've acted like a professional.

Injuries and a change of offensive philosophy tanked his production - in addition to growing older too.

I wish him the best, he gave his all to the 49ers.
