Anyone else watcing this game. It is turning out to a barn burner. Alexander looks so far that he is not the same back he used to be. Cincinnati is torching their secondary and throwing the ball a lot, but Hasselbeck is throwin well too. Palmer had a bad INT though

14-10 hawks at the half. Go Bengals! We really need them to win this game.

I wouldn't mind Branch getting another TD or 2, so long as Palmer throws for 3 or 4. :D

Almost exatly the same thing happened to the Seahawks as happened to Vernon, he fumbles the ball up and it's picked off!! However, Vernon was down by contact, and the Seahawk was not.

Except Vernon had posession. It was mostly in the Bngals players hands. Almost the same thing in the endzone! Hit JP's foot and boounced out.

And ANOTHER screwball play as the seahawk accidently kicks the ball up with the ack of it's foot, and it's almost picked off by Peterson, who drops it in the endzone.

So many similarities to the last two 49er games. Kicking the KO out of bounds, then they call an incomplete pass when Hasslebek clearly caught it, ran 4-5 steps??? Then they say they can't review it because the Bengals recovered it...but the ground caused the fumble. How can you recover an incomplete pass? This is just like the officials calling an incomplete pass on the 49ers when the ball never hit the ground.

Thankfully we have 2 division wins and they have only have a division loss. Next week is still big though.

Agreed For us to go 3-0 in the division would be huge. It gives our players confidence and would really make our division stop and think.

Most important reason you guys need to win next week is that it's in your own yard. Losing to a divisional opponent is one thing but losing the game against them that is played in your own stadium (especially when you have to play the next one in theirs) is huge.

Gonna be a good game next week. I was proud of the "bend but don't break" defense this week. We certainly didn't have a stellar defensive outing but we held a VERY good Cincinnati offense to 19 points. I find that encouraging. Also, our run defense was STOUT for most of the game.

This was a huge win for us against a quality opponent.

I watched that play but when it went to commercial I changed it and didn't change it back in time.......so they didn't say that Hasselbeck caught it?

They said it wasn't reviewable. If they had reviewed it, I would imagine that it would have been ruled a catch for a 10 yard loss but that the ground caused the fumble. There's no question on whether or not Hasselbeck caught the ball or not. He obviously did.

yeah, besides the officials rarely are able to look at more than one aspect of a play when they review it, it hurts their brain. kinda like our incomplete pass today that never touched the ground.

Yeah he obviously caught it, but I don't think he fumbled it. Why wasn't it reviewable though?

Also, nice win :) No matter how close or how you get one a win always feels pretty good.

ok, i know it's just conspiracies, but this game was rigged. i figured that out after cincy went for the two-point conversion instead of the extra point. then right after that, graham kicks the ball out of bounds giving seattle such great field position. if cincy just kicked the extra point, seattle would've won by 2. the spread was 3. so it was a push. how convenient.

if any of you guys bet on football a lot, i'm sure you guys all know about how some games are rigged.

Football is not rigged. If it were, this world has too many "journalists" wanting to make a name for themselves to break such a juicy story and have months and months of material to discuss.

If by that you meant the residue that "Bubba" left in the backsides of most of their arrested players, then I certainly hope so.

(We just might want to get new uniforms after that, though. :mouthclosed:)

Nice win Blue. Man that hit on the last kickoff by number #50. Wow.....fumble.

Man, that was huge. His name is Lance Laury and he's like the 52nd or 53rd guy on the roster if you know what I mean. Former practice squad guy who was never drafted and would have surprised no one if he had been cut. Man, he came up huge when we really needed him. With Carson Palmer back there, the last thing I wanted was for them to have one more shot at coming back. That passing attack is just too good.

Hey that's great. Confidence is always a good thing.

At least we don't have a false confidence this year, since we swept the season series last year. (Though some would just be brash and predict victory even if God himself said we had the worst team ever!)

(And even then, God wouldn't say that to us, because he'd correct himself and go to the other side of the bay.)
