No I don't like him, but I do respect him. Hmmm...can't say I'm too surprised that he's played this well thus far. It's hard to imagine all of that talent could diminish in just a few seasons. Crucify me if you will, but I think he's back to his old self. At least for the moment. Might have another one of those 30 touchdown/15 interception seasons.

He was never gone.

He forced alot of throws cause they were always down. Even with garbage WRs, he can throw for 200+ yards on most defenses. Hes one of the best ever, gotta be top 5.

I remember when he went on a 2 or 3 game tear a few years ago with Robert Ferguson (now burried on the pitiful Vikings WR depth chart) and Antonio Chapman (not even sure hes in the league)

Hes a gun slinger and a great player who lost focus on some very bad teams.

I think he's playing with better (or more experienced) teammates this year, and he is fitting into a "game manager" role right now. He's doing great.

He better be, considering he was my first pick in 4 fantasy leagues.

Well the last two seasons there were a good amount of his throws that I saw that seemed kind of inaccurate. So I'm not sure what that was about.

I'd say lack of focus. He seemed to have made his mind up before the snap on where the ball was going and Brett's alot better than that, as we see now and have seen in the past.

When they were terrible he wasnt worried about throwing crazy INTs. Now the games matter and you can see that in his play.

QBs go up and down with their blocking. Give me the Cowboys O-line of the early 90s and I could win a Superbowl at QB. :scare:

A QB will play poorly for a poor team, and he'll play well for a good team. Brett Favre has always been a good QB, but he hasn't always had a good team. Don't credit him, or criticize him alone.

Very true.

Did he leave?

He's been surrounded by sub-par talent the last few season, and suddenly he's found he has a good defense.

I admit, I thought he should have retired, because the Packers have almost no shot at a ring, and well, with the way the Pats are playing, he still doesn't.

He looks good....he's winning, the defense is good and he's having a good time playing. I expect he'll be very good through the rest of this season.

As much as I hate how he's beaten the crap out of us throughout his career I have to respect the man. He loves the game.
