well, atleast you have a positive attitude. Come on, if your going to count us out because we are one game behind 1st place, then I don't know how you could call yourself a real fan. Let's just take a quick look here at our division. The Rams have not won a single game all year and are going no where fast. The Cards actually are not looking to bad right now but was must always keep in minds this is the Cards and they do like to find new and creative ways to beat themselves, plus one of their "starting QB's" is out for the season, and the better one in my opoion. Now lets look at our really competion, The Seahawks are good byutdefinitly a far cry from a power house. They got shut out against the Stleers and didn't score a single point, while we manganged to score 16 against that very same team just two weeks before. I think that if the 49ers want to get into the playoffs this year we need to win 2 out of 3 in the strethch before we play our division. These games are at New York, The Saints at home and the Falcons in Alanta. If we can't win atleast two of those games, espically becaue the Saints have not won a single game and the Falcons have only one win and are very beatable.

yes iam a big niner fan guys dont get me wrong. but is just the way i see it with that off. coordinator that he cant even get a first down. so come on guys he should be coaching pee wees football man. or better yet he should get plays from tecmo bowl from nintendo. and Mr. #1 49ers fan i agree with u and hope it comes true. sorry guys

it doesnt sound like you're a big niner fan. As for Hostler, IT'S NOT ALL HIS FAULT you might as well blame RB's WR's OL TE's and the QB. They are all responseable for the horrid play

We have a good defense, Vernon Davis is coming back soon, and we are 1 game out of first place. It is NOT time to think about next year.

It would really suck if we where below .500, because the Pats have our first round pick, which they won't even use, so if it comes down to that we all have to ask ourselves was it worth it to give up a first round draft pick to draft Joe Staley.

If we can regain that offense we had last year - and add that offense to this years defense, we'd be in good shape. But I'm not very confident in that happening. Offensively, its been terrible since day one of training camp. I don't think one bye week can turn it around. There are just too many people coaching on the offensive side so inexperienced, to expect such a turnaround so soon.

Well definetly the offense is holding us up from being a playoff contender but if Alex Smith can get healthy and start our throwing gamegoingwecan show other teams that we are not one dimesnional. Stacking the box to stop Gore is a great opportunnity for us to open up the field especially the sides. If we are looking at next year we definetly need some more depth at WR's. I would also like to see more of Ashley Lelie in the rotation at least if nothing else to throw the defenders away from battlle.

so what are you saying we do tank? so the pats can get a good pick? theres no point in tanking and if the Giants started 0-2 and looked horrible and have a chance to go 6-2 theres no reason to think we cant do the same as bad as our offense looks theres defense was at least as bad but now they all came together maybe our offense can do the same
