My first draft of '07

Well in my first draft of this year (playing in three leagues), I have now this as my team:

RB: Willis McGahee
RB: Ronnie Brown
TE: L.J. Smith
WR: Marvin Harrison
WR: Anquan Boldin
WR: Matt Jones
K: Jason Elam
DEF: ATL

BN QB: Kurt Warner
BN RB: Frank Gore
BN RB: Deangelo Williams
BN WR: Roy Williams
BN WR: Laveraneus Coles
BN TE: Ben Watson
BN DEF: TB

What do you all think?

how big of a league is it? Cause you have alot of top tier players, so if its a 10 man league, bravo.

ps- I would play roy williams over matt jones. But thats just me.

Starting Rb's are solid... but your backups are only going to get half the carries.. if that.. with foster and barlow in front of them who knows how many carries theyll get

Looks good, man... definitely start Williams over Jones and keep an eye on McGahee late in the year - he gets banged up over the first half of the season and starts dropping pretty quick.

Its an eight team league so its not too big, but as far as the RBs go, the reason I took D. Williams is becuase Deshaun Foster has missed significant time for 7 years in a row due to injuries. As far as Gore goes, he was a more risky pick but I think he will end up starting ahead of Barlow after training camp.

Im expecting most of my points to come from the Manning and Marvin duo, because they will have to rely on the pass more this year than last since Edge is gone. Other than that, the Jags lost Jimmy Smith as their #1 so Matt Jones will be taking over, but I plan on using Roy Williams ahead of him, that was just the order I have them in as for right now.

There are still a ton of players available in FA because it is such a small league so Im not too worried, but one guy in our league ended up with Shaun Alexander and Portis, he is realistically the one Im worried about most. However, Im hopeful that the Madden curse plays suit and he does not have such a hot season.

If its an 8 team league and he has Alexander and Portis your probably playing for second. Just curious you passed on Portis in the second for Brown or Mcgahee?
