After watching that game against the Vikings I would have to say Alex is about a million times better than Eli. Eli sucks!! 4 Interceptions! 3 returned for touchdowns. The Giants gave up 28 points because of Eli they would have won the game without him..Thank god he isn't our quarterback.

It's just so sad how some people still are trying to justify to themselves that Alex Smith is somehow good and try to knock other qb's for having bad games to help their moot points.
You wanna make this fair and go down the list and bring up all of the "good" games Eli has had this year, (and throughout his career)??
To make this fair, go back and do the same for Alex and see what you come up with..
Regardless of how much you think Eli sucks, Eli > Alex. That's reality.

the Giants are a soft team if they play a physical team and they are down big they would fold

Plax basically can't cut with his ankle right now.
Top 2 Rb's were out.
Lots of drops esp in the first half.
Not justifying his play cause he made some really bad throws, but the team didn't help him out either.
Donut!

99% of the world would probably still take Eli Manning over Alex Smith at this point. Sad but true.

Maybe you'd like to elaborate and defend Smith in this discussion with an actual argument? Or would you rather have us all as fans like every player on the team and never question them..?? basically be a robot and support everything we do and act like we have 22 pro bowlers?

How dare you! The whole pro bowl roster is going to be Niners. Smith, Dilfer, Hill will be the qbs. We have more then 22.

Minnesota possess arguably the best run defense in the league. Combine that with knowing that the Giants RB core is banged up, Minnesota knew the Giants would come out passing. With no running game, obviously the Giants were forced to lean heavy on the pass. It doesn't take a genius to figure out why Manning had a bad game. The fact you are actually serious on this topic makes me .

He is the most over-rated QB in the NFL. The only reason people thought he was going to be anything is because of his last name. He is no Archie and certainly no Peyton.

Whoa whoa whoa whoa... easy there tiger. Alex Smith may go down when it's all said and done in between Ryan Leaf and Time Couch. Manning and Smith are indeed worlds apart even if the Manning's first name is Eli, you just have it backwards.
