Did anyone else see the fan that got carried away by the cops? I forget when, it was sometime in the second half. I was watching the game, then i noticed everyone looking in the upper reserve 40's area.

Didn't see it, but at the Rams game there were about 6 people all dragged kicking and screaming down 20 rows from the same section think 56. A couple were girls. It was impressive fights and then the game got fun after that.

Ok. Here's the story. In the 4th quarter there was some guy who was wearing a Spongebob hat (that looks like a lampshade). Even though we were a few sections away we could tell this guy was DRRRRRUNK.

Ushers had told him to sit down, and finally he did. Then he grabs his kid's Spongebob Stuffed Toy and starts twirling it around over his head (holding Spongy's arm). By now every usher 2-3 sections over is watching this guy. The last time he twirls it, he CHUCKS IT. Spongebob flies over the walkway and into the middle section (not the lower deck). I'm pretty sure the people Spongebob squished were suprised.

Two ushers go up and ask him to come down. The guy refuses. After 5-10 minutes one of the ushers calls for the cops. 2 cops appear, and then 2 more. the first two cops walk up the aisle and ask the guy to come down. They must have argued for another 5 minutes. Suddenly the guy tries to dump his beer on the cop and then THROWS A PUNCH :boxing: at the cop. The two cops grab the guy and wrestle him to the ground. They cuff him.

Meanwhile anyone in those sections, who has a camera is taking pictures.
Then the two cops in front and two cops in back escort the drunk guy down and away.

The sad part of this story is the 3 kids that had to follow their dad (I assume) down the hall. Two were early teens, 1 was a young kid.

But that's what I saw. (From section 32)

I was surprised at all the ejections on Sunday. I have been to several games in New Orleans and never saw a fan get ejected.

This may not be the reason, but it could be. I think many STH or veteran game attendees will agree.

When a team is performly poorly the crowd can be similar to pre-season games when tickets are more available and are often very cheap or given away. This in turn brings out some people of 'less-than-desirable' behavior or people who are less than considerate to fellow attendees who act like they are at home and can do as they please.

With a better performing team, those people who can't conduct themselves in a proper manner, usually can't get a ticket.

Remember the 80's and early 90's? The 'Wine and Cheese' fans don't act like that.

yeah, we got these two guys who were in front of us who were **** faced. him and his buddy came back with beer and garlic fries and almost spilled them all over the guy next to me. so the guy grabbed his arm and told him to sit down before he spills it all over his lap. the guys eventually moved somewhere else, but it was pretty annoying for a half. i understand drinking and enjoying the game but come on

Did anyone hear about a guy who fell from the upper deck? The SFPD were showing some good "customer service" to some fans in LB9. They were by us in LB7 and we could hear on there radio that a fan had fallen into LB7. well there wasn't but on the radio monday morning on the radio they said that someone fell off one of the ramps but it sounded like they were not to sure about the story the way they were talking. Never mind just found it on SFgate.com.

that was in Upper Reserve 38.. I sit in Upper Box 38... Didn't notice the guy until he threw that Spongebob doll and it hit my neighbor a row in front of me.

Usher tried to calm him down. Then the cops came and wanted to escort him out. Knucklehead then swung at the cops and they laid the smackdown on him. He had a big shiner on his face. Then his little kid had to walk behind his pops as he was cuffed up and escorted out. The usher gave the kid his doll back when he was coming down the stairs...
