I've checked a couple mock's and a few of them have us selecting Hardy with either our first or second round pick. I don't know too much about him. Found a few clips of him on youtube. I like his size 6'6" around 235. Also set the record for TD catches at Indiana. I know that's nothing to get too excited about but at least it means he could be a red zone threat. Should we ever get there.

Does anyone have any further info or thoughts regarding Hardy:devil: ?

yea good speed, controls his body well for his size, long stride, good hands, great in the red zone. I saw him tear it up against penn state this year and is def. worth that 2nd round pick. Plus i believe its only his 2/3 year playing football so he is only gonna improve, went to indiana for basketball.

What the man above said.

I'd prefer Limas Sweed but he may not be there although he was injured and depending on combines and other teams needs who knows. I've watched a lot of him as I'm a Texas fan.

Also some late sleepers as in FAs / 7th+

AJ Bryant from Georgia might be worth a look as a FA out of this years draft. He's 6'2 200 with a 4.3 - 40.

And we need speed in KR and PR so I wouldn't mind seeing us take a look at either Jayson Foster 5'8 178 4.3 - 40 out of Georgia Southern or Dexter Jackson 5'8 178 4.3 - 40 out of Appalacian St.

I'd really like to see us look at Bernard Berrian (Chi) Rashied Davis (Chi) and Bryant Johnson (Ari) in Free Agency this year also. Bryant Johnson from Arizona is a gamer and if it weren't for Bold / Fitz he would be a number one or two.

The next MW, DJ. Tall, slow and no separation.

Disagree. He has sufficient speed, and gets great separation. He destroyed a possible #1 pick in Justin King when they played PSU. He may not be a burner, but he runs routes so well, he gets separation out of his cuts. And, even when he isn't completely open, he has the advantage with his size and vertical ability.

Comparing him to those two is just mean Ace

Probably, but he and Sweed just look like identical players when i see them and like Jarrett neither of them strike me to be anything more than a Clerance Moore, Malcom Floyd type.

Maybe. I saw this kid play a couple times and I was impressed by his size speed hands and the seperation he got from the defender by good route running or just using his body to box them out.

He broke IUs TD record like 5 games into his JR year and we could use someone with his size in the redzone. Chuck it up and let him take it out of the air.

Need to be wary of big WR's though. Especially in college, its pretty easy for them to dominate due to their size advantage.

Dwayne Jarrett and Mike Williams were good examples of this. Or Tayo Johnson.

True, and he's playing in the Big10, a conference not know for speed and athleticism...

He did look good when I saw him though, although a little refinement wouldn't hurt him. He did seemed to play faster than Jarrett and those guys from what I saw.

I havent seen much of him, but he looks like maybe he could be another Plax. Which wouldn't be a bad player at all.
