So I just happen to be in the city saturday night with my wife and 2 year old son. ANybody have any recommendations for a fun place to watch the game that is still a good place to bring a 2 year old?
I'm thinking like a pizza place or something. Nice and loud but with a cool atmosphere.
I took my son to a sports bar/restaurant a couple months ago to see a niners game and he learned to say the f-word by the time we got home. (The wife didn't find it as amusing as I did.)

how about Candlestick Point at Monster Park. They serve Polish dogs and soda, garlic fries, ice cream, hot cocoa and have football. Im sure you can pick up some tickets for cheap on craigslist or ticketmaster from the season holder sellers. It'll kill three hours and they're to sure love the idea of being at the game. I know my daughter did and she's 3 (just turned in late Nov.). But I've been taking her to football and baseball games since she was 1 and a half and watching football with dad since she was born.
I even got her playing madden. She was almost better than Trent Difler passing going 9/22 passing. Her running game needs a lot of work she hands off and get excited Gore gets the ball and forgets to run over people.

Good idea, I am sure you can get some tix for just about free at this point. Plus your kid can get in free and do all carnival stuff they have in the fan zone. If not I would suggest the Metreon and Yerba Beuna center. There are play structures all over and a few restaurants to choose from. Julians has about 50 TV's and pool.

Not really. Either a long walk or a quick taxi ride will get you there. The Metreon is on 4th between Mission and Howard. You can either go into Jillians (inside the Metreon area) or go to the 4th Street Bar & Grill at the corner of 4th and Mission to watch the game. The play area across the street from the Metreon on Howard is great for Kids. I always take my two girls when I am in the area.
