I would be extremely disappointed and skeptical if we drafted a QB in the first round. I would much rather spend that late first pick on the OL or DL.

I would be pissed. Smith is still young and showed some promise last year with a good OC. I would want to see us draft OL or DL too. If the teams decides to draft a QB there are options in later rounds.

Same sentiments as above posters, would not be in favor of our first rounder being spent on a QB.

I would be very happy to see that.
We would then have Hill and a rookie QB with Smith waiting to be dumped befor his big bonus is due.
To me a late 1st round pick on a QB is a great idea UNLESS a huge need player drops bigtime.

I'd scream at the TV if we drafted a QB with the first overall pick, unless someone with the 49ers' front office had that sports almanac from Back to the Future II that told us if we drafted a certain QB that we'd have a ton of success.
