i can easily see the chargers, colts, jags, or the steelers taking them out. even the cowgirls or packers could beat them. colts had some key guys out when they played them earlier this year.
Not to be personal...but 16 chances the NFL tried and you can say "easily"? :gunshoot:

The Pats dismantled the Steelers and Cowboys already. Indy had a 10 point lead at home and couldn't hold it. The only way I see the Pats losing is via their own mistakes.

The best chance for NE to lose I think would be San Diego in the first round and the Colts in the championship game. Then Dallas in the Super bowl. I know San Diego got crushed at the start of the year but they are playing so much better and you gotta think they will want blood this time. I would hate to have Dallas in the SB bowl but the fact they already played them makes it tougher for New England. Also hope for some serious wind to hit New England each game.

The bolts will have a very good chance if they don't forget about giving the ball to their best player (LT). The only reason they didn't win the SB last year was because Marty stopped giving the ball to LT in the 2nd half. And yes, I believe the bolts would have beaten the colts if they played last year.

He is pretty streaky....there will times when he calls the right plays and then all of the sudden, calling some really stupid plays. In the playoffs, you cannot afford to make those mistakes.
And so for me, I can see NORV starting LT early.....but if they get stopped like what the BEARS did to them, they better exploit the passing game as well instead of just willing LT while the defense putting 8 or 9 defenders in the box.

Without Harrison and Gonz. Who did they have out wide, Thorpe? Someone who couldn't crack Pits roster. That game would have been a lot different if Manning had some people to throw to.

Well someone better call Norv the night before the game and remind him that LT needs at least 40 touches. LT is not a one dimensional back. He's one of the best receiving backs to ever play the game. They need to utilize him to the fullest if they want to advance in the playoffs.

Their OL was also in shambles, Ugoh, their starting LT didn't even play that game
There was a reason why the pats seemed to have been throwing jail breaks at Manning the whole game lol

I think that in actuality, LT doesn't need to touch the ball 40 times (on the ground) They need to use him a la' Marshall Faulk with the RAMS in their primes...
That is use LT in the flats, inside passing, slot WR...anywhere! Then use TE GATES also while opening up holes for the WRs.
but if NORV would get complacent (he has that tendency and thus I dislike him), then it can get hairy with the BOLTS.

That's what I meant by touches, rush/rec. Which is why I pointed out how good of a receiver he was.
