Yes, channel 93 or 95 (Direct TV) I believe BUT as with the preseason games some markets are not allowed (reno) so for me its dull analog crap all the time.

I was just switched to Time Warner in San Diego and I'm pissed that they aren't planning on carrying the NFL Network after the 30 FCC enforced extension. Apparently, TW wants to carry the NFL Network for a fee and the NFL Network wants to be a "basic subscription" channel. Until they come to terms, the NFL Network goes away (from Time Warner) in 30 days... period.

Living in San Diego, the NFL Newtork is my only connection to the Niners on TV.

Also, here they had the NFL Network in standard & HD.

When you watch NFL Network, once in awhile you'll see "HD where available" or something like that. I've called DirecTV in the past and they told me it's not available in my area. I hope that changes with all the NFL games they're gonna have!

Maybe I should call them again....

Dead sure I've been in an ongoing battle with DTV for 3 years about it. Cookie cutter explanation, if you can recieve local channels in HD then its likely you get the HD NFL feed on 93 or 95 (I cant remember which). In markets that dont have local HD (reno being one of them) you are required when you sign up to state if you want your local feed. If you say yes ,then you lose ALL HD broadcast channels untill DTV picks up the local HD feed, and you cant go back. DTV offers a west mid and east HD feed pf major city channels that people not in those area's can watch. The local providers went to conngress and got a law passed that it was an unfair advantage because those who had DTV didnt watch the local programming. All demographics and sales tools used to attract advertising for the local stations were then skewed because they could not account for those watching TV in DTV/Dish...etc. So congress essentially said DTV cant offer out of area broadcast channels to the public. hence if DTV does not carry your local area HD or your area does not have one then you are locked out of all HD programming that is regularly ttelevised on a broadcast channel. Honestly though it applies to a very very select group and is completely dependent on where you live.

I have both Comcast and DirecTV HD receivers.......and neither of them have NFL Network in HD............what I mean by that is a designated HD channel for that particular network.
Correct what they do is take certain shows from NFL and othe channels and put them on 93 or 95 in HD and supposedly they will do this for NFL pre and inseason games. Its the same channel that they showed olymoic hockey on for a month straight............2 months after the olympics were over.

NFLnetwork does have a hd version of their regular channel, all the non HD programming will just show with sidebars.

Of course many cable and sat providers don't carry it yet. Directv doesn't. But directv will show a lot of the NFL newtork HD broadcasts on 95.

THey miss em once in a while though.. but for regular season thursday night games, I'm pretty positive directv won't screw that up.
