Does anyone even care anymore considering the teams? Seriously, **** the Patriots and **** the Giants. I have absolutely no interest in this except to maybe see the Patri****s pursuit of boredom and a watered down NFL. Really it should be a contest of which head coach is a bigger jerkoff. Man that sucks. To me the season is over, **** the super bowl.

I care. I like football. My team didn't make it, and the Patriots have won a few trophies the past few seasons, but I'm not going to sit here and whine like a little ***** because teams I wanted to see win it all aren't in the big show. Well the only team I wanted to see win it all was the 49ers, but still the same logic applies.

I don't mind missing it this year. I'm going to be on a road trip. If the packers were in I'd pull over and watch it somewhere. But I figure the Pats are gonna blow out the Giants, so I'll check the score towards the end. If it's close, I'll catch the 4th quarter at a bar somewhere.

I'm gonna watch but I wont be rooting for any team. I tried to find a player I liked on either team, and I came out with WR Wes Welker. Maybe I'll be leaning towards the Pats, although I hate them.
Man, this superbowl is going to suck, I just hope its a close game, coming down to the end. Worst Superbowl matchup in NFL history, except maybe Giants v Ravens. I really hate this matchup, I cant stress it enough, F the Patriots, F the Giants = F the SuperBowl.
I will!! Could be a good rematch! The playoffs are often much better games but I still watch SBs regardless of which teams play. It’s football and I’m a fan first and foremost.

Well the way Favre treated the 49ers in his career it is nice for Packers to feel that home championship loss.
I really want the Patriots to lose so I'll watch for that.
The Giants winning is fine because I think they will always be a average team and not a powerhouse in the years to come.

Remember when the Giant fans came here after they beat us and they were super cocky and very disrespectful?
Well I can't wait until 2 weeks from now when the Pats wipe that stupid smile off their faces when they meet in the Superbowl.
I dont like Eli, Strahan or any of the giants for that matter.
It'll be nice to see the Patriots go undefeated, who cares that a lot of people are going to call them the best ever, even if they don't win they'll still get called the best ever by a lot of people.

Nope. More NY vs. Boston taking over the sports world spotlight.
I wouldn't mind if both cities was taken out of sports for a year haha! OK, maybe only the Yankees and Giants, the Mets and Jets can stay.
I might be falling asleep during this game.

Im more excited about this Superbowl than I have been about the last two, and I think its going to be a great game. I mean look at the game these two teams had in week 17, easily one of the best games of this entire season. Now the Giants have even more confidence, this is going to be great.
If it werent for the Patriots run the Giants story would be the best story in the NFL this year. I mean 10-1 on the road this season, including 3 straight road wins, thats REALLY impressive.

Man you just hate NY sports don't you?
And if you don't know what an arrogant fan is until you live in Boston for three years. I know a ton of Giant fans and none of them approach the arrogance the average Pats fan has.

If Tom Brady gets the Flu or hit by a truck prior to the Super Bowl I'll watch, if not no thanks.
But then again the Pats would still probably win. Brady looked like crap yesterday and still won. Sad.

I'm just hoping to see a perfect team. I wasn't alive in '72, and it may not happen again in my lifetime. There are always match-ups that seem dull for the big game (DAL/BUF anyone?), yet once the ball is kicked off, you realize you're watching the sport you love, and you get into it.

It was ruined by the Pats season. 90% of the public is sure that the Pats will win...There is really no doubt, so if you know who's going to win why watch. The Pats have IMO ruined the season.

How can people actually say they arent going to watch this Superbowl? You have an undefeated team going for history, you have a Giants team that is on fire and playing great. The last time these two teams met it was a classic. You have Eli finally stepping out of the shadow (for the time being) of his brother and making it to the big game.
How is this game less interesting than say "Indy vs Chicago", or "Seattle vs Pittsburgh"?
I mean everyone is enttitled to their opinions but this Superbowl has the feel of being an exciting game, with the Patriots going for History.

That was the first game of the season, there is no evidence they have cheated in any other game this year. And they would have killed the Jets regardless.
You want to put that on them, then do that with their past Superbowls, but this year is legit.
And I dont like the Pats, but I respect the great season they have had and im not going to hate on it by saying they cheated to accomplish it.

Oh really you don't think they already had tape on other teams? Even without the tapes they probably would still be there, but I still don't support cheaters..especially the unlikeable ones like Belichick and Brady. Those are two really unlikeable people...and Rodney Harrison as well.
But anyways, you're not going to change my mind on this one...

The best teams in the league are watered down. And to be honest I don't see it as Pats going for history and Eli stepping out of his brothers shadow. I see it as watching an arrogant and obnoxious team taking on a team with an enormous ******* for a coach and a Quarterback in Eli who ****ing cried like a baby and pouted until he got to be on the team he wanted. I really would be happy if this was the lowest rated Superbowl of all time. Even better would be if the league could figure out a way for both teams to lose.

I can't see it as a great game because I can't stand either team. I hated the season the Lambs went and beat the Titans for similar reasons. That Lambs team told me the league wasn't what it used to be. The Patriots are confirming that belief. The reason no teams went undefeated through the 80s and 90s was that the good teams were too good. Parity is ruining the game and making more and more like college football.

Pats and Ravens game was the highest-rated cable TV show ever. Not Football game, but overall.
This will easily be the highest-rated Superbowl ever. That's why the NFL decided to have the Pats/Giants game on three networks, there was enough to go around.
I don't know how people can be Football fans and purposedly not watch the superbowl. The offseason is too long to miss the biggest sporting event in the world.

Call it what you want but I cannot find a single reason to give a **** who wins this game. It is the worst SB since Dallas/Buffalo part 2 in 1993 when everyone and their mother knew Dallas was going to stomp the crap out of the Bills.
