Drayton Florence grabbed his third interception yesterday, tying a team record in the playoffs he will probably never have a chance to make his alone. Florence will become a free agent next month after five seasons with the Chargers. -- San Diego Union-Tribune

We dont need to spend on a DB. We have CLements - Harris _ Spencer with Brown waiting. We could bring back Strickland if we want and Hudson is a decent CB/S.

The only CB i would want from the chargers is Cromartie. He is an athletic freak and makes plays that maybe only two othre guys in the league could make other than him. He is also tall, fast and has really long arms to help get to the ball in the air.

Well that won't happen, since Cromartie is going to be there a LONG time.

Secondary means nothing without a pass rush, period. A GREAT pass rush makes a decent corner a great one.

Then why sign Florence? If you want someone solid find a solid player, not one who had a late season hot streak.

Word. I think we're already set at corner. Our entire group would have looked a lot better if we even had a decent amount of pressure on opposing quarterbacks. But we had none.
