Anyone watching the NFL HOF inductions/enshrinement right now? Looks like Norv Turner will be speaking for Aikman.

Here is this year's class if you didn't know:

The Class of 2006 - Troy Aikman, Harry Carson, John Madden, Warren Moon, Reggie White, Rayfield Wright.

Leave a comment or memory of one of these players and how you will remember them. (For Madden please don't mention how great his football game is, lol).

For my 8th bday my parents got me two football jerseys. One being a Montana jersey and the other a Harry Carson jersey. My mother is from NJ and grew up a Giants fan. So she felt that if my dad was going to get me a Niner Jersey she was going to get me the jersey from her favorite team. I guess she thought that me being a mama's boy I would defect to her team instead of my father's favorite team if she got me a Giants jersey, lol. She actually was a bigger Carson fan than LT fan, even though we have a signed helmet from LT sitting in their den. Well, unfortunately for her the Carson jersey didn't pursuade me to love her Giants anymore than I love the Niners, but I did in turn come to appreciate the Giants and the defense they had in 86.

I really liked Madden's speech... he's a character. I didn't really care for Al Davis' presentation though, all he talked about was his franchise, and not really about Madden.
Yeah, I agree I love to listen to madden talk...Did you catch his special on NFL Network? It was pretty dang good.

I will say that Carson's speach was long winded and jumped all over the place. It was very hard to sit through it. I wish he actually wrote something instead of winging it up there.

Rayfield Wright's was pretty long as well, it was good though just kind of hard to listen to the way he talked. It was like he was preaching or something lol.

yeah it was long as well, but at least he was crying during his speach. Showed great emotion and was grateful to be enshrined. Sorta stinks to see two Cowboys in one class...

Dude, your not gonna watch Reggie's induction?
Why it isn't like he is speaking or anything.......:rolleyes2:

JK, it should be an emotional speech from his wife.

Hated when we had to play against Reggie White, but...he truely was a good hearted man.

If only God had told him to be a 49er... I wonder how our mid-90's history would have changed. maybe we would have actually sacked and beaten Favre. My big 3 "what ifs" are:
1. Reggie White a Niner
2. Deion re-signing with us after '94
3. Ricky Watters re-signing with us

His wife didn't break down as bad as she did on sportcenter yesterday. Great speech though......:clapping:
