Looks as if Favre will more than likely be returning for his 18th season. I would have thought he would have retired this year for sure and gone out while he was on top.

Packers could very well come back next year and play as they did before this year, sub par.

That's their president speculating...just like everyone else is speculating. Until Favre says it himself, he's not "back for his 18th season".

The dude is never going to retire. He wants to try and put his records out of reach. Someone is gonna have to give him a career ending concussion before he calls it quits.

I know, I just feel bad for that dude. Sucks to be him. Well, I guess him making millions for sitting on a bench isn't bad, but he must be bummed, nevertheless.

What is that? An actual image on the website that was somehow made live on accident? (Kinda how news websites have stuff written up on a famous person that is ready to to be posted at the click of a button in case they die.)

PFT reported earlier that it was posted on the Packers Home page that Farve is going to retire. It has now been removed though.

I bet that's what it was then. They were getting a web page ready in case it happened, and accidentally published it.
