For Fantasy drafts...
I have a sneaking suspision that he will go in the first round in every draft i'm in. I know won't be taking him until at least the my 5th pick, any thoughts?

Laugh at the guy who takes him first, and cross him of the list of possible threats. Wasted pick.

don't know. it all depends on when your teams draft is too.
if you do your draft after preseason starts and just before regular season then it would be a calculated risk, given his diversity as a player and the fact that we know NO is going to put him on the field any where they can, including returns, it can be a great pick for fantasy football.
He is going to lose goaline carries to Deuce though, and IMO even if you pick 10 or 12 there are much safer picks with as much up-side as him fantasy wise(unless your league gets points for return yards). He's never carried the load for a team (though he wont be asked too), he has a major ?'s with O-line, QB (shoulder may not be back to normal) 2 strong recievers to take looks away. I wouldnt pick him before round 3 at this point (though I will never draft a rookie as my first pick so I'm a bit biased i guess).

VD should be drafted among the top TEs if your fantasy league mandates a TE.

I'd take quite a few TE's before VD.

You'll regret it:-) As long as Smith pans out, VD should be the top receiver on the team.

And that kind of thinking lands you Barlow Gore Smith Bryant and Battle on the same fantasy team. Fantasy wise IMO VD will be no better than 6-8th TE this year
Gates, Gonzo, Shockey, Heap, Crumpler, McMichael, and probably Cooley would all be more favorable picks for me.

i think Reggie will have around 800 yards and 10 td's (receiving and rushing). Hes about the 20th RB i would take this year.

VD will hit at least 60 receptions for 800yrds this year and could hit 80 receptions for 1100 yrds imo:-) I bet he also gets at least 10 TDs.

I bet Vegas would give you stellar odds on that. 10 TD's really.................. 6 TE's in history have scored in double digits for TD's in a season but VD will do it his rookie year? Dont hold your breath. How many WR's let alone TE's have scored 10 TD's ther rookie season? Certainly you cant say VD is a better prospect than the Elite WR to come out in the last decade. Expectations for this guy need to be tempered a bit he has much less supporting cast around him than the "elite" TE's he's gonna be doubled and the ONLY focus for DC's this year. I Think he'll do well for a rookie maybe even get some ROY TV time but anything over 700 yards and 5 TD's is setting yourself up for a major letdown.
