Never heard of this guy but I bet Kubiak really likes him.

Texans acquired OL Chris Myers from the Broncos in exchange for a sixth-round pick in 2008.

The sign-and-trade took place after Denver signed Myers to a four-year, $11 million deal with $3 million guaranteed. Myers is an athletic linemen with 16 career starts, all coming in 2008. He'll likely start at center for Houston.

Chris Myers was a draft pick out of The university of Miami a couple of years ago. since Kubiak is familiar with the OL scheme, he figures that Myers wood fit right in rather than a rookie or veteran

Should be noted that Alex Gibbs is now the Oline coach/Asst Head Coach in Houston too.

I'm actually kind of surprised you've never heard of him. He's not exactly a household name but he's not that obscure either. He came out of "the U" just a few years ago.

The part of the quote I found funny was that they said he had 16 starts which all came in 2008. :fortune:
