View Full Version : Malcolm Kelly Damaged Goods?

NFL Network's Mike Mayock reports that both of Oklahoma WR Malcolm Kelly's knees "are of such concern" that he may be removed from some teams' draft boards in April.
Kelly got hurt in both the Sooners' bowl games the past two years. He hasn't participated in any pre-draft events. Kelly plans to run privately on April 9. Mayock hints that there is a good chance Kelly, the No. 1 receiver in the draft according to some internet services, will go in round two.

ya he is, after watchin path to the draft i seriously think desean jackson will be available at our pick! cant wait to see who we choose!

how does Kelly being hurt help our chance of getting DeSean Jackson, shouldn't it be the other way around?

frank gore had two bad knees remember. he fell to us and how did that work out? imo, we will draft a lineman in the 1st round, but if kelly falls to our second pick, he would be a huge steal

Agreed if, hopefully pick up groves or cherilius in the 1st then Kelly :tiptoe:

Or Rivers in the first and Kelly in the second, before using our 5th on the invisible man :-/

I think the 49ers end up with 2 1st rd picks, and there 2nd rd. I think next years pick and some one or somthing else will be the package to aqcuire the other late 1st rounder. I think a Gosder Cherlious or another OT will be one of the 1st rd picks, followed by a pass rusher like Quinten Groves, or mybe some one else if they slip, or a S like Kenny Phillips or Reggie Smith or a WR like Limas Sweed, Malcom Kelley or Desean Jackson.

I would say it looks like this in the 1st 3 RDS
1ST RD Gosder Cherlious
1ST RD Quiten Groves
2ND RD Reggie Smith
3RD RD James Hardy/ Mybe Malcom Kelley or Limas Sweed both could possibley fall Early Dourcet and Mario Manningham could also be options.

That's extremely optimistic. If it happened I'd poop myself in excitement, but it won't.
