Me to. The guy always seemed to be making a play on the ball and thats what wins championships.

If Vernon Gholston isn't there by the time New England picks, then I can see him going to the Patriots.

Thats imposible he finished with a EXTREMLY large PERIOD. so there is no way he drops to the 29th overall.

Connor would be a great, safe pick. Him and P Willy would be an unbelievable tandem for the next decade.

Connor is the one guy that i keep hearing we might take with the 29th pick that i absolutely DO NOT WANT...what would he play for us? the TED too small, ROLB? too small and isnt that great of a pass rusher...he would only be a 2 down player for us and thats something i dont want with our first round pick

WHY?
he's a smart tough LB. I think he'd be perfect next to Willis

he only weighs 233lbs, so hes no TED and he definitely isnt a pass rusher...and even if he did gain enough weight to be a TED hes only a 2 down player and im not real interested in a 2 down player with our first pick

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure he plays around 240, yes I know he weighed at 233... I don't know watching him play I just get the feeling he'd be great next to Willis

I'm from PA, so all we get are Penn State football games and I can tell you that Dan Connor is the real deal. Hell, Paul Posluszny was a monster in college and there's a lot of people out there who say Connor is better than Poz. I'd love to have Connor here in San Francisco but I guess the common argument is, do we really need another ILB when there are many more pressing needs at other positions?
If McNolan feels we're at a position where we can take the best available player, then Connor could be a great player for us and I definitely won't be complaining.

You can't go wrong with a LB in the first round but didn't he have some injury problems. I would like to get a solid Corner in the first round Like Mike Jenkins if he is there! I think we should try to move up and get this guy. There is allot of good Wideouts in this division and we need to solitify this position. I know that this is not likley but I would consider it. Walt Harris is not getting younger and we all know about Spencer! I would not be too excited about bringing in Connor but if all of the other prospects are gone like Grove,Chelrlius..etc Then yes he looks pretty solid!
