When asked who are potential steals/sleepers of the draft Todd Mcshay said Dexter Jackson and than Quentin Groves???

Apprently a steal is someone drafted after round 1 that will perfrom like a round 1 player, so they don't expect Groves to be a first rounder either.

Mel Kiper said Godfrey from iowa would be a steal.

Should we take Groves with our first or try for our second???

I'm well known as a huge Groves supporter, and I also really like Dexter Jackson. If Groves is there in the first, we'd better not pass on him. I'd love to get Jackson in the 4th if he's still there.

If we really like Groves, and he is on top of the boards at #29, I wouldn't hesitate. Just do it, lol.

The only thing that concerns me about Groves is that his agility numbers were very low for a guy with his kind of speed and athleticism. His 3-Cone in particular, was well, just bad. Makes me beleive he will struggle when asked to drop in coverage. Be that as it may, I still like him as a good fit for our WILL 'backer.

I feel my IQ dropping every time I listen to those ESPN sports pundits. They are so annoying. But Mel Kiper and Chris Berman are their best commentators IMO.

I dont think he'll get by JAX, WSH, TB or even PIT.How did you arrive at that conclusion?
Most Mock Draft rating sites don't rate him higher than about 29th.
So Best Player Available (BPA) shouldn't enter in the decision.
So "need" becomes the next likely criteria in making a decision.

In the case of PIT, I have listed a couple of sites that cover their needs.
What information did you use to come to your conclusion about the Steelers Draft?

Free agent All-Pro guard Alan Faneca is gone while their left tackle Marvel Smith has battled some injuries in recent years and has just one more year left on his contract so Pittsburgh will probably be in the market for the best offensive lineman available.

Last year, they made their first two picks outside linebackers, attacking a need with volume. ...Their offensive line is a jumble of no-names, castoffs and miscast players at the wrong positions and it’s seen as the top need on this team.
