sorry if this was posted before

I searched 4 pages of threads so I think I am safe

according to Sporting News he is the best receiver in the draft

"Spotlight on ... Devin Thomas, Michigan State: Scouts are drooling over Thomas' size (6- 2, 210), superb junior season, impressive pro day workout and 4.40 time in the 40 at the Combine. All he lacks is experience, having started for only one season at Michigan State after transferring from a junior college. Even so, Thomas could be the first wideout picked. "

I hope he is not a 2008 version of James Jett

No. No early round receivers. They need to win now and rookie receivers a rarely a factor.

His measureables are very similar to Jason Hill's, but Hill was productive his entire college career. So we kind of have this guy already on the team.

If he fell to #29, I think we would look at him. Although I have a feeling we are looking for more of a smaller, slot WR. I don't think he falls to us regardless.

won't be available. He's going to Buffalo, Philly or Dallas.

In my opinion, there are no worthy 1st round receivers this year. I would rather grab a guy like Royal in the 3rd/4th.

Whether he is available or not we shouldn't take him in the first round. There is a ton of recievers of similar value that can be found in the second round. I'm not that sure I want a reciever in the first or second round unless it's Hardy.

We shouldn't go after any receivers.

No I like groves at 29 and if we were to draft up for any player I think it should be Mike Jenkins CB South Florida! With him and clements together it will be the best CB tandoms in the leauge IMO!

IMO...The only reason this guy is getting any praise at all is this draft class is not that great if you are in dire need of a wice reciever. These will be number 2 recievers at the most.

If you have five terds in a toilet and you pick one you'll get a piece of ****!!!

I think we could get kelly or hardy in the 2nd.hell i think we might be able to get groves in the 2nd and go bpa in the 1st.Id like to see laws in one of our 1st three picks,i think we can get a good o-line prospect in the 4th.

I certainly think we would take a look at him. In my Round 1 Mock I have us taking him, because he's the BPA (IMHO). Maybe my view on him is a bit skewed since he owned Wisconsin at Camp Randall, which was my first Badger game ever. We still won but man, he had a great day and was very impressive. His quarterback sucked this year as well, though it's a little odd that he didn't perform well when Stanton was the QB. That might be something to take into account if he's there at 29, but I certainly think we would give him a look. :go9ers:

He never really did anything until this year... not saying hes going to be bad but im not that sold on himWhy do people keep saying this? Mendenhall also didn't do anything until last season, and he's a top-15 pick. Rodgers-Cromartie has exactly zero Division 1-A experience, and he's also considered a top-15 pick. The draft has always had players go high after only one good year of production (including Vernon Davis). Why is it any different for Thomas?

Another reason he's a 1st rnd prospect is because of his "combine" numbers, then again alot of people gets drafted because of their "combine" number instead of how good they really are...........its a shame u.u'
