Rivals.com can shove their mock draft up their ACE!!!!!

Rivals.com has a new mock draft out. Maybe some of you have seen it. I had to laugh at it, however! They had us drafting Brian Brohm (QB out of Louisville) in the first round and Felix Jones (RB out of Arkansas) in the second. Is it just me or would these be two wasted picks? I know mock drafts don't mean anything, but as a fan it would be nice to see a mock draft and actually agree with it! Brian Brohm is the same type of QB that Alex Smith is. Alex has got experience and I think that this could be a breakout year for him (if healthy). And Felix Jones? He's a good player, dont get me wrong, but HELLO????? We have Frank Gore and added DeShaun Foster. Why add another RB that we do not really need?

I would not disagree with drafting a WR in the first, but I really think we need to focus on the D-line and O-line early on in the draft. What are your guys' thoughts?

I saw this same thing earlier today! I was laughing at it ... I think they don't do a lot of research and just put random players or 'best available' in the slots. There is no way we take a QB with our #1 pick unless Matt Ryan slips!

I agree with you. I think if we really needed to get a QB, we would need to trade up....ALOT, to get Ryan. But that will not happen!

I saw this last week and thought it was ridiculous as well, although if we hadn’t signed Foster I would be stoked if we were able to land Felix Jones in the 2nd. That guy is a TD waiting to happen every time he touches the ball…his stats in the SEC were ridiculous.
