The Niners need to get another young quality WR. It looks to me like were going to shore up our DL and OL with the first 2 picks. So Im curious about everyones thoughts on some late round WRs?
This article about Oregons Cameron Colvin got me thinking about it. He worked out last week with the 49ers. and as the article says Nolan and Martz like the guy.

On day 2 it might be worth it to take a risk on a player that has been injured. We did it a couple years ago with RB Frank Gore, that one panned out pretty well. Colvin was a gamer at Oregon and had the size and speed for the nfl before his injury, this might be somewhat of a diamond in the rough.
Another prospect Im curious about is WR Maurice Purify from Nebraska. I played against him in high school and followed him through his college career. Last years college preseason player-ranking in sports illustated I recall Purify being 25th or 26th player in all of college football. He had legal troubles early in the year which probably dropped his draft stock, but I think this guy might be a good pickup in the 7th round, and with some developement and having a veteran WR in Bruce as a mentor this guy could come out of nowhere.
What are your guys thoughts? Do you think we'll go for a WR on the first day? If so, who? If not, who are some other good later round WRs?
