I would like to start off by saying for those of who do have not had the chance to see the draft live at Radio City Music Hall, it's just an amazing experiance. I was lucky to get VIP seating, and this year I sat right to the NFL Networks stage, so I was fortunate enough to meet Mooch, and had a few snapshots with the commish. It's a great time, and if anybody is in the area, you need to make the trip.

On that note, on my way in wearing a 49er coaches golf shirt, a 49er representative walks up to me and asks, "Are you a big 49er fan?" Thinking in my head as I am surrounded by the nutty Jet fans, 'why else would I be wearing this shirt', I said "***** yeah". The guy hnads me a bag with the 49er logo on it, with T-shirts, a hat, a pin, and a 49er calander.

He tells me to keep the faith, we're gonna be much better this year. As he started to walk away I thanked him, and asked if we were going to get Quentin Groves...he said "we'll see", and grinned.

I don't know what posessed me to write this, other than the fact that I though it was a classy gesture. Of all the teams and fans that were in attendance, I did not see any fans walking around with bags of their teams on them. It almost seemed as if the 49ers made some effort to reach out and thank their fans,(all 5 of us that live in NY that is lol) which again I feel was a classy gesture.

On a lighter note...what the F happened to Groves? Sorry for the rant.

Thanks for sharing, always great to hear when the team takes care of one of their fans.

When it comes to the picks, I just try and trust the coaches and staff to know what they need more than the MB does and just accept who they pick.

The Organization Knows That Fans Are Tired Of Ish And Want Results. Without The Fans The Team Is Nothing. Cool Though They Looked Out For You And Any Other Niner Fan There, If There Was Any One Else.
