Worst first post I've ever seen. Was there a legit #1 in this draft? NO. Did we have other, more pressing needs? YES. Did we address some of those needs (other than pass rusher)? YES. What on earth are you talking about

Well, they are bound to not look good when the o-line keeps dissolving, not giving the qb enough time to throw, so our WR can't really get the stats when they can't get the ball to them. Also inconsistent play at qb, which I hope has been solved with the competition in Hill and Sullivan.

We don't need a WR. We could have 20 WRs but it doesn't matter if we don't have a QB to throw to him. We have two guys that can play but they can't get the ball to the WRs without a line and if we didn't address this, we'd have O'Sullivan starting in week 2 or 3 because Smith and Hill would be hurt. This is a smart draft. Its not flashy, its smart. Wake up!!!
You look at what the Rams are doing with their D line. If we don't improve and add depth to the OL, we can't protect, therefor we can't pass and we won't win.

Yea because there was SOOOO many WRs in this draft that are definately #1 guys... right?

We already have two new starting WRs this year.... Let's watch them play first before saying that can't get it done...

Nolan said he asked Mike Martz whether he would rather have the receiver than Chilo Rachal, but Martz said he preferred Rachal, according to Nolan. Martz also gave his blessing to Cody Wallace.

As I suspected. If Martz really thought that we didn't have anything to work with in our current roster, he would have pushed for a WR and we would have gotten one early. But he didn't feel that need for one.

Yes sir I agree with you the wideouts in this draft are slot recievers at best. I love the 1st pick and we are bolstering our weak o line. Lets see what we do in our 6th round pick. I would like to see at wideout hopefully a big target but if we take another O liner that would be ok with me too. Remember we got 2 wideouts this offseason and we have Jason hill who has 4.3 speed I think people will be pleasantly surprised with what Martz can do with our wideout core.

I know what you mean. We didn't correct the WR need. There's still no no. 1 Wr for Smith to go to. We may have a partial Oline, but people get hurt! You need depth. Wow, congratulations 49ers, you fill one need on your Oline, but you fail to get some depth. You fail to get pass rusher! You failed ot pick up one of the great 6 WRs in the draft, how in the HECK do you let all the fish like that get away?
