KOREN GETS CUT
Posted by Mike Florio on May 9, 2008, 4:36 p.m.
The Green Bay Packers have announced the release of receiver Koren Robinson.

So now the question becomes whether any other NFL team is interested. The Bears have a definite need, and the Eagles — who run the same offense as the Packers and the Seahawks, with whom Robinson spent the first few years of his career — are always looking to add more bodies.http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/05/09/koren-gets-cut/

Well, not really. In that I just don't care. But we're going to need the thread because you know a hoard of Johnny Two-Posts are going to start these idiotic threads... So we may as well get started...

I a with you on that bro. Definately don't need another mediocre wr. Lee Evans would do some serious damage in the Martz offense. It probably will end up being either him or Bryant Johnson next year because he will be a FA also. That would be a lot of $ invested in the WR core if we had Evans, Johnson and Isaac Bruce. What two out of the three would you most like to have???
Lee Evans<

Yeah, for the 1 in 6 games Evans comes to play.

That's a lot of money for a beer-pong partner. You must be the Al Davis of beer pong.

We are having a tournament tonight. You coming, SB?

Yeah, for the 1 in 6 games Evans comes to play.

That's certainly debatable.. Now i'm not trying to make excuses here.. But when you have nobody else on the other side to take some pressure off of you, and also add in a sprinkle of bad/mediocre QBs, that's certainly a recipe for disaster.

Whats remarkable is even through all of that in his tenure at Buffalo, the guy has managed to catch 233 balls adding up to 3,727 yards and 29 of them TD's. This in only 4 years, which is pretty impressive considering the horrific rookie seasons most WR's have.. He's also pretty damm durable, which is a plus for a 5'10 speedster.

I would really love to have Lee Evans, no doubt about it.

I just read on NFL.com that Koren Robinson was released by the packers a few days ago.... I know he came back to the packers last year and really added some big play capability to an offense that was already explosive enough. I don't really know a whole lot more about him though.... Is there any reason we shouldn't go after him? Thoughts please.

Well I'm sorry dude but If it's not on the main page I'm not gonna go digging for a forum. It was a simple question. If you don't want to answer it then don't. You could at least leave a link to the other forum or something. I'm so sick of people who do nothing but LIVE on these forums and constantly complain. Who really cares? Get over yourself.

If you had taken 5 seconds to do a simple search, you would have found it.

There is no main page. There's, what, 6 forums to choose from. This is NFL news, goes in the NFL forum. This would have been on the first or second page, I assume.

Take a 5 second look before you post.

Who are you? Seriously. Who are you? I can barely remember you at all. And, really, what I remember was from a few days ago which was mostly people calling you a fool after you acted like a fool in some other thread I'd hoped might contain something worth reading. Have you ever written anything worth reading? I'm sure if you did, I'd have read it and responded favorably. Or are you, as I suspect, just another Internet "tough-guy" douche-bag who can't figure things out unless they're spelled out directly. I'm getting that impression, so I'll spell it out for you, lame brain:

Beyond your temper-tantrums, your idiotic high-school "kool kids" games have driven off most of the mature, quality posters that used to frequent this board. So my desire to hang out longer and discuss football has lessened. Especially with useless prongs like you who know nothing of football and couldn't' make a solid, enjoyable argument if you had a debate coach by your side. So, really, the normal 15-minutes, or less, in a day in a day here isn't worth arguing with you. I simply have better things to do:

Rule #1: During the regular season, I don't respond because I don't give a **** what you think. And that's the majority of my non-responses.

Rule #2: In the off-season I rarely see your responses as on most days I just go to the MEMBER LIST function, find names of the posters who are on my reading list: TheWiz, Nevyn, ArmofJustice, hawaii49fan, a few others. I get in the MEMBERS LIST, go to their name, click on "find all posts" and read their stuff.

If there are some foolish posts near one of theirs, I might (but usually don't) respond to the post. If the person I searched continues on in the thread, there may end being some disjointed back-and-forth, but see Rule #1.

I'm not hiding from you. I just don't give a crap what you say and I'd no more argue with you than a fly I swatted away. Really, I'm here reading the 8-10 solid posts this board produced. But that's all that I"m reading. For example, here's one of the people I enjoy reading:

Mark Roman is the new Derek Smith. He's not...

My other, rare, foray's into the board are looking for new authors. I've got my eye on a few that I'm really beginning to respect for their accuracy and thoughtfulness, even if I do give them crap sometimes: Benji, Majjestik1, -BayAreaJunkie-. They're looking fairly sharp. I don't agree with everything they say, but football is an art, not a science, so they could be right, and what they read is well stated and well-considered. As they build up a body of work and this work proves to explain the reality of the product on the field, I will give them more respect and will tend to defend their positions and disagree much more politely than I do with fools like you. If they start to devolve into emo bull****... And their posts show no predictive or explanatory value, then they won't be on the list. Because, whether you like it or not, I respect those who can get it right most of the time. Whereas those that can't... Well, this is why you're not on the list.

I also check the original post on threads I haven't read. Sometimes they're okay and I may then read the first five or six posts. Some people, who actually bother to think about what they're saying often get complimented. Others... Well, if you act the fool, I'll treat you like a fool. But since those threads don't have any of "my guys" in them, I don't go back and I don't owe you a response.

So, while I generally don't go back to threads, even most of mine, because they're uninteresting, I did go back to my draft threads to defend my positions there. A bit of contrary evidence that you may not like, but then I really don't give a **** what you think, so it doesn't matter whether you like it not.

As for this thread, the only reason I came back was because I wondered how many noobs started threads about signing Koren Robinson and got them merged into this one. And, lo, I saw your 8th-Grade bully-boy post. Which, by the way, is seriously funny. In ways you are probably incapable of perceiving.

Somehow you didn't come to the realization that you made yourself look foolish by posting a thread that didn't get it's run, like you thought it would.

So in essence, you're the tard who posted the very thread you call others out for.

Good job Balonguos Rex. As always. Trying to act like the tough guy, without knowing that you are the very poster you think you bully.

I thought the same thing when I read the first post. So he started a thread that he knew was stupid because some mental midget was going to do it anyway... so he decided it should be him.

The lack of logic in even creating this thread is staggering.

"I'm going to do something stupid since some person who is much dumber than me was probably going to do it anyway."

Brilliant!!

Logan's post wasn't even a ridiculous one. He admitted right up front that he didn't know much about Koren Robinson and asked if there was a reason why the 49ers shouldn't be interested. But rather than just say "The guy's a drunken half wit who can't catch", people are trying to pigeon hole him into a "OMGz, we needz to sign dis dood" type of poster that he's clearly not being.

So there is exactly ONE poster that simply asked for more information on Robinson and that somehow proves that there was an impending rush of "Sign Robinson Now!!" posters? That's a pretty big fart in a stiff wind.
