Because they bickered so much among themselves that they lost what became the Houston Texans.

Does California really need another NFL team? Hawaii would be great but could you imagine the constant jet lag traveling back and forth, especially to and from the east coast?
I'm thinking the logical choice would be America Junior, I mean Canada.
OttAwa can't hold a CFL team nevermind NFL. Two cities come to mind Toronto and Vancouver

How about no more teams!
Every time a league expands, they water down the product! The expansion teams suck up all the free agents, and recieve a great draft position for the first 3 years. Ahead of us!!!

Definitely Los Angeles. One of the largest cities in the country has got to be one of the leading candidate for any new team. I can't really see an NFL team being based on foreign soil, especially Mexico. Although I think Toronto would be a slight possibility.

Just move the Chargers to LA. San Diego is an atrocious sports town. Seriously for every home game of any sport there, there's always 1/2 of the crowd full of the opposing team's fans. Sometimes more. The other team shouldn't essentially be playing HOME games in your stadium.

First of all, the league scheduling logistics can't handle 1 or 2 or even 3 new teams. If there is expansion it will require either a severe imbalance with only 2 new teams or adding 4 expansions at once. Otherwise, it's much more likely that teams will move to a new location than the league introducing more expansions.
Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Juneau are nightmares. Not only does the 2nd 2 lack the population density and range to attract full stadiums, the away schedule and traveling would murder teams. Santa Fe? It took forever for AZ to just build a stadium for the Cardinals. The far SW already has the Chargers and Cardinals and 2 Texas clubs. Not to mention the DEN club. There is little interest or need to satisfy the Santa Fe/Albequerque (sp?) corridor that is vital to sustaining the teams already in place. San Antonio and San Jose are along similar lines.
Mexico and LA are the best options. Overall, the 'extra' travel due to Mexico is forgetable if they get to play in a western or southern conference. But LA wins because it's a massive, much more influential market flooded with entertainment money.

there are plenty of rich people in mexico... especially mexico city. sure there are far more poor, and pretty much a non existent middle class... but believe me, wealthy people exist in mexico and could afford going to games. plus, there are a lot of americans doing business in D.F. not saying it's a great idea, but it's not as far fetched as you're implying.

LOL. Superman. I'm a Mexican Soccer buff. And I know that they sell out soccers games on the dime, well the best teams of course. And the rest still bring in a nice chunk of attendance. So that should easily translate to bringing folks to watch an NFL team.
When the 49ers and Tards came to play, most didn't even know the game of football but came to understand it and witness why it's big in the states. So, it's first year of existence should nicely cover up all the seats and it shouldn't be a prob. But that's just my opinion.

Orlando, Florida.
Orlando Predators.
Buy the AFL team, convert the branding into an NFL franchise you already have the built in brand recognition plus a small but loyal fanbase in one of the fastest growing areas in America. Central Florida would likely be receptive to such a team to add to its growth appeal. The tax advantages are favorable in Florida, the local govt bodies arent that difficult to work with all things considered, the infrastructure is world class as a result of being a premier tourist destination for so long and there's plenty of affordable space to put a stadium. Not that I've given it any thought.

After LA, Toronto, Portland, Orlando, Mexico City, and Las Vegas make the most sense. They all have the population to support an NFL team.

orlando has a hard enough time selling out(or just getting people to show for the home games) for the magic games. Its just hard for me to see orlando bring in a NFL team. I'm not saying i would be agaist it, just highly doubt it. Florida has already 3 teams.

True, but I'm not sure the Bay Area could support 3 teams. 2 is just fine, but they're so entrenched already that the third would have a tough time winning over fans.
