By the time I found out I would be off on today it was to late to sign up for it. It will save me some gas money for the games this season. I am kind of disapointed in the 49ers by doing something like this. They do not have enough film of the fans from last season? I will know that what they are showing up on the jumbotron is staged and not real. That is nothing against the Fans that got to go and do it. If I could have had more notice I would have been there. I guess I should save my judgement untill I see what they do (did) and what they use and how they use it.

I participated. It will be the video on the screen right before the players come out this year. The size of the cast was limited to 150 people. There were also a few professional actors. There was also a director and what seemed to me a very professional production crew. Cameras were mounted on tracks. Special effects included fog/smoke. The main things we were doing were the normal things we would be doing in the stands. Emotions included stoic, war cry, intimidate the opponent, celebration etc. At one point the director (Rocky) took us from it's fourth and one and we're nervous about the outcome to we made it. For those who have not been around a movie set it is interesting to see how they are made. I have, and so was not surprised that it is a long day, you shoot an incredible amount of footage which is edited into a small segment, there is plenty of standing/sitting around waiting and you do things over and over and over again. Between the crew and the pros there were also a few hot babes. We were well fed though I thought our in the stands emotions could have been enhanced if the had also supplied free flowing beer. At the end we were able to roam about the field, have a group photo at the 50 yard line and got a tour of the locker room.

I have done enough EMT stand-bys for shoots. They can be fun for awhile but then the drag kicks in of doing nothing for hours and hours and more hours of nothing.
