that is a cool article. I agree but I also miss the playstation version of Madden 97 with Madden and Summerall giving a preview of the game (an actual video) during season mode. Very cool and ahead of its time. Old school Madden was the ****!

Yeah I remember the PC version also having Jim Brown doing an intro before the game then throwing it to John and Pat.

Presentation wise, Madden has indeed gone backwards. I don't know if they intended to do it on purpose or not, but they can easily make the game presentations 3 times better than what it is right now. Especially in the next gen consoles.

yeah I agree. I havent any next gen system yet (getting my ps3 this month) but from the previews of Madden 09, they are taking steps to improve it, especially with the Collinsworth commentary and replays...
Nothing touches the NFL 2k5 presentation imho

Can somebody please explain to me why triangle button isn't hurdle anymore ?
"Cover up" is a complete useless button.
