I'm seriously considering going to the Niners game this December. Is there public transportation (train) that is close to the stadium. Where is the best places to sit? And any other general info that you may have.

Thanks

The MetroLink runs two blocks from the Edward Jones Dome. For places to stay, I would get a hotel in downtown STL (so you can walk to the game), by the airport, in the Central West End, or in Clayton (though, there is not much to do there). All of these places are along the train route.

As far as places to sit, you can go pretty much wherever. The top deck is VERY high up, so be forewarned. Fortunately, the Rams are terrible and tickets should be cheap and easy to get. PM me if you want more information.

Everything above is correct, except the rams being bad and tickets cheap and easy lol. I thought it was gonna be like that but who knows hopefully it will be correct come that time. This is the 1 place i dont really know much about the traveling(Friend and boardmember Erik picked me up) so go with the guy above there.

The stadium is a pretty quiet place, fans dont bother you, its a kind of dismal enviroment outside the stadium. Just didnt seem like NFL football to me. But ya i had 15 yd line 1st row lower level when i went. Could see fine no vision obstructions. Should be fine sitting anywhere but id look for lower levels. Me, Rockininer and my friend Erik and his wife dont remember his board name all plan on attending this game also. So hope to see ya there.

Save your money for next year. St. Louis is the softest place to see a football game. Might as well sit home with the game on mute while taking a bubble bath and listening to new age meditation music if your going there.

There is no atmosphere at the Dome. That is the other thing that I forgot to say.

Sneak me on the plane as a carry-on and I'm there.
