Impossible to judge squads without knowing the number of teams in the league at very least.

Will the Niners O line provide the needed protection and time for whoever is the Niners QB to throw the ball?

Just for picking the niners D, I give it an F.
Aside from the D it's actually pretty good, what is that a 10 team league?

A new "D" would help... just because you "have faith" doesn't mean you should destroy a decent fantasy team... You should pick-up a more proven "D" and just keep your eye on the 49ers. It's not like people are going to be frothing at the mouth to pick these guys up if you drop them.
I'll give it a B- (depending on how many teams are in your league) and a B if you get a new defense.

C to C- your RB's are anything but sure things and not one of them is a full time back, highly inconsistant WR's and TE's are average. you have a great QB and a bunch of second tier players. IF parker plays like its 06 you should be fine, if he does not i dont like your chances so much.

Its a good team I still dont know why at this time of the year your carrying any D's or K's, in a 10 teamer with that amount of roster space there are far better players to be kept on the WW.

Difference of opinion I guess... but seriously, would you not hold on to a top tier DEF at this time of the year just because some back-up RB's and WR's show some potential? Not saying the Seahawks are a top tier DEF, but when you say you wouldn't hold on to any DEF or K's I gotta ask.
My point of view, I'm looking at match-ups and projected stats for week 1. My weakest point for week 1 is DEF, so I picked up a DEF that is projected to do well week 1 in order to shore up my weak point. At the same time I'm not going to drop my best DEF to pick up a back-up who has potential. That's the difference of opinion.

I understand your stance, I dont draft K's or Def's if the rulse say I dont have to. Seattle is worthy of holding onto (i'd say they probably were not worthy of the draft pick spent) but not the other 2 (Neither of which would be picked up anyway).
Now that players are going down, its more advantagous to hold onto players, when they get hurt they are useless, when a defense loses a player in most cases its a minimal downgrade.
Its about supply and demand, there are a ton of D's on the table and few owners who want them. There aree a limited amount of backups available and at some time in the season ALL owners will want them.
You've wheeled and dealed well, why not do more with WW fodder and your backups?
Offer sheffler + Rudi or Selvin for an upgrade, then select Boss instant upgrade for FREE! You could use a WR3 offer up Ward + Sheffler for a better WR.

I understand your stance as well. I've tried a few other trades to bolster up my back-up RB's... no one is biting. That said, shy of injury, who in the right mind would bench either LT or Westbrook regardless of who they are playing. Selvin Young has a good match-up during LT's bye (Miami), as for Westbrooks bye, well that doesn't look so good for my back-up backs, but you can't be perfect at every postion every week.
I may be guilty of being content with my WR's, but have you seen a better foursome in any leagues this year? I think I have good reason to be content. Though week 6 proves to be a dilemma when both Ward and Evans are on bye... I will obviously have to grab someone to fill in. I might lose a point or five by waiting to address that need, but I will have other week-by-week needs to address prior to week 6...
I thought about snagging Boss, but Scheffler just makes more sense for me. Marshall is out the first 3 weeks giving Scheffler that much more attention, which is perfect being that Gates is going to miss week 1, and during San Diego's bye, Denver is playing Miami as oppose to the Giants playing Dallas.
I really do share most of your out-look. My other team is loaded with WR's and RB's... granted I do have a K and a DEF on that team too, but only 1 TE. And in my home/trophy league, I draft the requirements than cut what I don't need and horde RB's and WR's. In this case, I'm very happy with my positions on the team, so I feel like I'm ok to go ahead and address the week-by-week needs at this point. That's all.

I didn't really address this. The rules for this league in particular required 2 DEF to be drafted. As soon as I could, I dropped BAL and picked up Young. I already explained why I have the NYJ. They're only temporary as they are projected to double the Seahawks output in week 1.
Also, just to note, the 2 DEF and the K were 3 of my last 4 required picks (Watson was in there too)... the NYJ I just picked up today due to the fact that SEA is projected to do poorly in week 1 and I wanted to shore that up. I did not draft NYJ DEF.

but how effective will Gore be behind a below average O line and below average QB coupled with below average receivers?
this season is going to be painful.

Ask Kevin Jones owners the way he played when healthy last year. If we are talking sttrictly fantasy, OL QB and WR talent mean virtually nothing for a RB's fantasy production.
