i was actually pretty surprised at how rough, and pretty dirty on several plays, the Cardinals defense played, especially Dockett

a groin tear sucks, it's painful and lasts a really long time, but i can't feel too much sympathy for a unit as shady as the Cardinals' D

He hasnt been healthy in years. They still have Haggans, Okeafor and LaBoy though.

Healthy or not, he was a difference maker for the Cardinal's when we played them this year.

It's great that all the teams we play this year are getting merked by injuries.

Dockett's had a bad rep for this for a few years now. Word was a lot of players & coaches around the league refused to vote for him for the probowl a couple years ago because he frequently pushes the clean/dirty play line.

Classic example was the headlock he put on Portis for two consecutive plays, when Clinton got into his face afterward. I wasn't the least bit surprised that Washington retaliated the next play. Stinks for you that it ended up in having a TD called back because of it.

I love Dockett, and think he can be dominant without the excess crap he sometimes pulls. I dont deny that if he wasn't a Cardinal, I'd feel differently about him.

Oh, and in the interest of staying on topic, I just read that Berry only expects to be out 3-4 games.

The cards were flying & hitting who ever had the ball in their hands when we played them last. Hitting like mac trucks.

This sucks for the Cards' but it makes our MNF game a tidbit easier.

The Cardinals have an attacking, fast, physical defense but it is borderline dirty.

Those are iffy. I doubt they meant to do those.

And yet Dockett isn't in any of the photos. Why are you calling him out?

And yet Dockett isn't in any of the photos. Why are you calling him out? the photos weren't meant to show Dockett, just the Cardinals, and in those pictures particularly Hayes, playing dirty...

Dockett however was the one who kicked Randy Thomas during a pile up, kneed Jon Jansen in the head during another pile up, and twisted Clinton Portis' kneck around after tackling him...and when Devin Thomas scored on a wide open TD it was called back because Stephon Heyer had enough and shoved Dockett over, and the refs called a penalty on Heyer and the NFL is now fining him 5 grand, although i'm sure Portis will help him pay it...
