I'm not sure about those posts, pretty ridiculous, but I will say this...
Redskins fans, from when we played them in the playoffs in 2005 and especially this past year, have complained about Seahawks fans more than anyone, including Dallas fans...
complete ***holes, nothing but ridiculous trash talk that crossed lines of any decency, especially this past year with many making jokes about Sean Taylor, so whatever they have to say I don't really care, they're easily my least favorite team in the NFC West, I hope the 49ers sweep them and crush them every time

I can't wait till they come to our place and we stomp them out. It will be a thing of beauty. JT will rip that putrid defense apart.....again.......Seattle scumbags will be in last place this year and it couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch of a-holes.

The majority of Seahawk fans are ignorant and worthless. I have no idea why. The worst fans in the league IMO. Atleast I can joke around with Rams and Cardinals fans, I love those guys. Try joking around with a Seahawk fan. It's garbage.
Exactly, and when they get real ignorant I always remind them to look in that empty super bowl trophy case of theirs

Oh, and while we're just joking here, you really shouldn't comment about people jumping out of buildings; seeing as how Seattle leads the country in suicides. :bat:

My wife bought me tickets to go see the 49ers play Seattle in Seattle for my B-day a couple years ago. It was a Sunday night game when Erickson was the coach, we lost the game on the last drive when G.Hearst fumbled the ball. Anyway when we were walking up to the stadium a 6 year kid in a 49ers jeresy was walking in front of us, holding hands with his dad. We were on a path that skirted the parking lot and a group of drunk Hawks fan started yelling at the kid and calling him a "fa*g". They then tried to start a fight with the dad. It was by far the worst display of humanity I have witnessed 1st hand. It was a fricken 6 year with his dad !!!

Because if you get offended over that stuff, you're better off coming back in about 2 weeks if you get my drift.
Sorry 96, if you were a close friend of Tim Russert would I have kept my mouth shut?
If you knew Kevin Everett would I?
If you were gay, like 90% of the 49ers would I stop?
Or if you were an inbred hick that had shorted out his speak n'spell would I cease?
Nah, I wouldn't. So to be fair, I can't do it this time around either.

Yep, the Mayor of Seattle called a press conference today just to read these jokes on behalf of the entire city of Seattle.
But seriously, I still don't understand how lame jokes written by some random d-bag on the internet amount to the entire city of Seattle, the entire Seahawks team and every single Seahawk fan in the U.S. being classless.....

I believe the "worst fans" belong to Dallas and Philly (and I LIKE the Eagles).
Raiders fans are far worse than Eagles fans. Eagles fans may be loud, vile, profane, etc, but I would never fear for my physical safety at Philadelphia's stadium. I am afraid a Raiders fan would stab me in my seat!

Once again a vast generalization, but what's the point of arguing. Your opinion is worthless to me.
Fyi, you'll find more Giants and Mets fans than Giants and Yankees fans nowadays. Why? Because a lot of the younger crowd grew up with the Mets and Giants teams of the 80s. But go ahead, I'm sure you know more than anyone else.
And those "good" Jet fans are the scum bags that sexually harass women at half time during their home games. But not all Jets fans are like that, if I thought that I'd be doing exactly what you are doing and grouping them altogether.
Im merely sharing my observations, not "grouping them together."
Are you honestly trying to tell me theres more Met fans than Yankee fans? LMAO if so.

I actually feel like our fans are the worst.
If we're losing a game.. or even if we're winning and there's a bad series so many fans on these boards want to scrap the whole team and start over.
It's pretty annoying..
Also the lack of noise in that stadium was embarassing.
SBbound49ers
09-26-2008, 04:37 PM
That's a really bad generalization. Then again I'm not surprised considering your hatred for the Yankees as well.
Yeah, cause you're not biased....
Two organizations go hand in hand:
Usually, Met fans are Jet fans (and are good fans)
and
Giant fans are Yankee fans (bandwagoners for the most part)
All of a sudden the Giants catch on fire and everyone happens to have been a Giant fan for years.

Right, which is why it's important not to condemn the entire fandom for the 3-4 people who were being ****heads. Still, I guess you can at least say that since this whole thing is getting near-national attention (somehow), one of the Seahawks most popular boards is about to go under. Unfortunate since it was their mods that made the post and defended it.
For the record, Seahawks.net (which is a Scout board) is the only "popular" Seahawks board. Most of the others are composed of guys who got banned from that board (and it's not hard to see why).
Many people have said it already but it's worth saying again. The post was by one ***** who happened to be a Seahawks fan. I find it interesting that the original poster tried to pawn it off as "How Seahawks fans think" without even so much as eluding to the fact that the guy got blasted by who? - Seahawk fans for obviously distasteful material.
People just need somebody to hate. Some fake azz fans can't come up with anything football related as a point so they resort to this type of thing. If you made jokes about Katrina to New Orleans fans, then that would include you. If you're going to account for how people think, try counting the number of people who objected to it as opposed to the number of people who thought it was funny. Then you'll have "what Seahawk fans think".
Believing in the notion that "Seahawks fans think 9/11 is funny" is almost as stupid as the original post that started the thread. Glad to see that there are many in this thread that don't sheepishly buy into the hype.

true. even though when i went to giants stadium and a giants fan burned my cousins hat, he at least later apologized, jet fans i hear are AWFUL. but i would say the worst is easily the eagle fans. they threw a glass beer bottle at a woman and hit her in the head for wearing a cowboys jersey when my teacher went to see them play. no offense killadelphia. you seem alright, but you must know what im talking about, it gets VERY intense in philly. however, that is without a doubt, the worst comment i have read. he is the worst fan to ever exist may he rot in hell and suffer an eternity of pain and anguish.

i know eagle fans are bad.
i think of it this way, the other day some guy got out of his car and shot a cop 14 times and killed him in north philly. granted this guy is just 1 of 1.5 million inside philly, but that is an example of how stupid and violent people are here. this is not a shocker here either, cops have been getting clipped here for a while now.
eagle fans pride themselves in thinking they know all about the NFL and are passionate about the team. but there are only 2 people inside philadelphia that i respect their football opinions and 1 of them is a cowboy fan.

Here is the latest from Profootballtalk.com
SEHAWKS FAN SITE CROSSES THE LINE
Posted by Mike Florio on September 27, 2008, 9:56 a.m.
We’ve been flooded with e-mail messages about the decision of a Seahawks fan site to prepare for the team’s upcoming game against the Giants by posting a list of nauseating, tasteless, and horribly inappropriate 9/11 jokes.
We weren’t going to mention the situation, because we didn’t want to push traffic to the site. But given the extent to which the story has grown legs, with stories by Deadspin and Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, we needed to chime in.
Seahawks fans, you can do better. There are plenty of other places where you can get news about your team.
Actually, Seahawks fans might have no choice. The site in question, SeahawksHuddle.com, currently is down. (Here’s the cached version of the page .) We hope that it’s because their servers collapsed under the weight of the unanticipated curiosity in the site, and we also hope that it will never be back.
If the site ever does return, we’ll be organizing an effort to contact all of its advertisers and plead with them to stop doing business with the site.
Based on the cached page, the advertisers include RazorGator, StubHub, Google, and FansEdge.
And before anyone suggests that every subject is fair game for jokes after sufficient passage of time, we don’t think that this loose rule of comedy applies to the single greatest tragedy in the history of our country. It’s been nearly 67 years since Pearl Harbor, and I’ve never heard a single joke about our men and women who were slaughtered that day.
We realize that comedy is subjective. But claiming “it was just a joke” doesn’t provide the would-be comedian a license to offend an entire nation.
While the First Amendment to our Constitution gives shmucks like this the ability to say things like that without being thrown in jail, the First Amendment also gives shmucks like us the ability to call them the shmucks that they are, and to ask anyone who does business with these shmucks to stop. Now.
UPDATE: We should have thought of this earlier. The domain for the site includes the term “Seahawks,” for which the Seahawks own the copyright. And so the Seahawks need to send these shmucks a cease-and-desist letter, pronto.

Me and my brother went to the Eagles opener against the Rams and we saw a father walking his son (both donning Rams jerseys) to their seats and they were barraged by some of the most evil, profane comments I'd ever heard in my life, that I definitely can't repeat here.
I hate the Rams as much as the next guy but that was difficult to watch. I'd be surprised if the kid wasn't scarred for life after that.

Well, the site isn't loading up for me anymore, so maybe they did close it down. I'll check back in later though. Yesterday their mods still had the nerve to defend the post and tell everyone to **** off that came in to give them their 2 cents about it.
The only reasons they defend the post is because they know there stupid.
