Was it just me or did it take some of your 9ers losing pains away? Talking trash to my Dallas loving friends after they rode me like a bike hours before when we lost to the Saints. See, It's the simple things that make me happy. O, and I've said it in many threads before, don't sleep on the Skins this year. We better be 2 games up we we see them.....

Actually, my best friend is a Dallas fan. He called me to "get it over with" after his bragging about his prospects and taunting me for our loss. I didn't even know the Cowboy's had lost.
But it did make me feel better. :)

Being from VA, I also am loving the Cowgirls loss... Actually with all of the losses yesterday, it makes our record of 2-2 respectable. Go Niners!!!

Va is Skins/Stealers/Dallas/Giants/Philly/Now i've seen Indy jerseys everywhere territory. I hate it. It's like some kind of FB team hybrid... When i see a niner jersey or sticker I almost **** myself...

Las Vegas is odd, too. We have 49er, Charger, Cowboy, Bear, Raider fans. Then again, its a true migrant town, so if you go to the right bar, you can find fans for any team.

I was born in Santa Clara, but raised in the VA... Niner 4 lif... if you happen to see a niner jersey #80 kicking the name RUHLIN, that's me. Screw the bandwagon VA fans of the Cows/Steelers/Eagles/Giants... it seems that whoever is winning is the fan fav in VA. Kinda shows why we can't get a legit professional team in the area... and the skins(DC, North VA, Maryland) don't cut it for the majority of the state!! Hell even if Richmond ever had a team, the NINERS would still have my allegiance.

Alameda county, born and raised. If i didn't live 6 blocks from the beach and i didn't love to surf so much, I'd be on the first plane back. And yeah, we would never have a legit team. And like you said, if we ever had one i still would be a niner fan. At least we got the most favorite track in Nascar though. And on that note, let me go crack open a bud and clean my trailer, yeehaw, kickin ***...

Wow, Dallas lost? But, but, but, I thought they were the unbeatable team?? Oh, well, that's media hype for ye. I don't even understand why they said they would be unbeaten. I think they have the worst defense in the NFC East. Their secondary is as suspect as ours...
Glad they lost, but I'm also glad several other teams lost to make our 2-2 record not look so bad.

I agree. Their secondary is immensely overrated. They are helped out by having such an amazing offense. As the Redskins demonstrated, keep Dallas off the field and you'll have your way with the Dallas D. I've always thought their D was overrated. Well, except for Ware. That guy is an absolute beast.

The Cowgirls loss did make me feel better yesterday. I'm glad they lost to one of their bitter rivals.

Yeah, DeMarcus Ware is the only stand out guy on their defense. I've always thought they had an overrated D and it showed last night. As much as I hate the Skins, their D was on point last night. They kept trying to get the ball to T.O. and the Skins were not having it. That was a good game.

A Dallas loss gives me just as much pleasure as a Niner win, no doubt!

Dallas losing always makes my day better. TO calling out his QB makes my week better.
If the heavily favored Cowboys (favored by 13 or 16, can't remember which) lose to Cincy this weekend, tht would make my MONTH better!

Terence Newman is an excellent corner, but he was having easily the worst game i've ever seen him play. And Santana just owns the Cowboys.

The problem with the Cowboys, and I said this all off-season and it was made incredibly apparent while watching them on Hard Knocks, is that they're so full of **** and so caught up in their own hype they're just looking to let themselves down.
Wade Phillips at a high school football camp talking about getting his ring finger measured when he hasn't even won a playoff game in his career.
Patrick Crayton running his mouth every other week about something.
Owens being T.O.
And of course the media pushing them having "13 Pro Bowlers."
I remember before the game last Sunday Tom Jackson was on the ESPN pregame show talking about how this Cowboys team could be better than the Patriots last year. Whoops.
On the NFL Films replay of the game, when the Cowboys tie it up 17-17, Romo is shown sitting on the bench with this cocky grin on his face saying "these guys are tired, they're done. We can do whatever we want now." Whoops.
Their whole team approach couldn't be any dumber.

Same here. Except that we had to endure both losses, watching them together... But seeing the Cowboys lose a divisional game at home definitely made it easier to move on after the Saints game!
