Obviously if you have a stud QB, move along, nothing to think about here for your roster. But for those of us without a stud QB, is Orton worth a look in Week 5 against Detroit?
Detroit defense has given up...
Week 1 Atlanta: Matt Ryan 9/13, 161 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT (Ryan's first career start. Also, Turner had 22 carries for 220 yards and two TDs.)
Week 2 Green Bay: Aaron Rodgers 24/38, 328 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT
Week 3 San Francisco: JTO 16/23, 189 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT
Kyle Orton
Week 1 Indianapolis: 13/21, 150 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT
Week 2 Carolina: 19/32, 149 yards, 0 TD, 0 INT
Week 3 Tampa Bay: 22/34, 268 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT
Week 4 Philadelphia: 18/34, 199 yards, 3 TD, 2 INT
The negative for Orton, though, is WR issues in Chicago. Still, is he worth the start? I think he might be, depending on the situation an owner faces.
I am seriously considering this one myself with JTO and Palmer my other options. For me, I don't know if O'Sullivan or O'Suckivan will show up, and well, the Bengals suck, so Orton could be a fix, even if for one week.
