Okay so I'm #1 in my 14-team league, and I'm about to play the #2 guy this week. He has a solid team, I do too but the problem is I have a whole bunch of starters on bye which puts a damper on things. Here is my usual lineup:

E.Manning
B.Marshall
R.White (bye)
Reggie Brown (bye)
B.Westbrook / C.Buckhalter (bye)
M.Forte
D.Clark
R.Gould
Washington Def

Now here is my makeshift lineup before I make waiver wire moves:

E.Manning (v.SF)
B.Marshall (@NE)
D.Stallworth (@Was)
J.Gage (@KC)
M.Forte (v.Min)
D.McAllister (@Car)
D.Clark (@GB)
R.Gould (v.Min)
Washington Def (v.Cle)

I'm not too sure Gage will even start (Questionable for week 7) and don't know if I'll get production out of Stallworth vs. Wash. McAllister is splitting carries with mr. everywhere R.Bush. I'm looking to pick up one, maybe two WRs off the wire and maybe one RB. Here are the choices:

RB:
S.Young (just dropped but I have really low waiver priority)
J.Fargas
K.Watson
L.Betts
A.Hall
D.Rhodes
R.Rice
P.Thomas
D.Sproles
D.Ward

WR:
J.Walker
J.Porter
T.Ginn
S.Rice
M.Clayton
R.Curry
A.Toomer
M.Booker
S.Smith (NYG)
A.Battle
M.Jenkins
R.Parrish
C.Henry
J.Higgins
A.Lelie

Should I take any of these guys to replace McAllister or Gage/Stallworth? Please help I need some input, my #1 ranking is on the line! Thanks much in advance.

Here is his team just for reference:

B.Roethlisberger (@Cin)
S.Smith (v.NO)
B.Johnson (@NYG)
E.Royal (@NE)
B.Jacobs (v.NYG)
W.Parker (@Cin)
Desmond Clark (v.Min)
J.Nedney (@NYG)
Minnesota Def (@Chi)

It is a TD-centered league where TDs are 6pts and 20yds rush/rec is 1 pt.

My Yahoo projected score is 52.46, his is 62.39.

His team certainly looks beatable but as it stands it's better than mine. Think I have a chance?

I think McCalister is better option than any of the RBs. S Young is interesting but Pittmans performance si going to keep him from getting alot of carries IMO. Fargas as well, hes got Bush and McFadden behind him, but hes number 1. I dont think the production will be much differnce between the 3. 20 yards a point, Id go McCallister.

Gage may not play. If you look at somone from the waiver wire, Id lean towards Steve Smith (NYG). If we continue to play off of the WRs, hell get alot of looks. I think youll be fine with Stallworth.

He's definitely got the matchups on his side a RB. Jacobs against SF, Parker against CIN is way better than playing Minnesotta and Carolina. You have to be smiling at Marshalls matchup after what Vincent Jackson did to the Pats. I think its a prettyu even matchup and yes you do stand a chance.

d. rhodes could be a good pick up, he played well last week and will be starting this week

Get Rhodes ASAP. The colts are playing a shaky packers run D that that Turner abused 2 weeks ago. He seemed like his old self last week against the best overall D last week against the ravens. Heading into the game against the colts they were 1st against the run and pass. Rhodes will also get the goal line carries that addai feasted on, Rhodes is the clear choice out of that list, get him asap.

The WRs are a crap shoot, your basically choosing between a bunch of garbage. From your list the only one that I can get you some points is Toomer. Check and see if guys like lance moore, joey galloway, or antonio bryant are available.

Thx guys, I already had Toomer as a pending pickup (had to clear waivers) so now I have him and Rhodes. Team is looking pretty decent now! Thanks again.
