He very well could be the next Steve Young, has a nice throwing arm and awesome scrambling abilities. Hes only a freshman so It could give us two solid drafts to beef up our O-line and have protection for him if we decide to draft him.
I watched the game earlier and even though the Gamecocks lost the game I was really impressed with this guy. He basically does not have a running game to take the attention off of him and he still gets it done.
The only thing that concerns me its that hes had run ins with the law in the past and those type of things dont fly around in our organiztion (49ers).
Id like to know what everybody else thinks about this guy? Maybe its too early to tell, but he looks promising imo.

Yea when Garcia was playing ball here in Tampa, he pretty much tore everybody apart.
The best games of the year were when Garcia and Robert Marve would go head to head in the annual Plant/Jefferson game.
IMO, Garcia shouldve been starting since the beginning of this year. Easily the most talented QB on the roster.
He had some serious character issues though in the past year or so. Hopefully he's straightening himself out.
This kid could be great.

He's not the best QB in that state.

Mike Davis is a pretty good RB. Always going forward and picking up extra yardage after contact.

He honestly shouldn't even be on the team. If he were at LSU Les would have already kicked him off the team for character issues. It's been one run-in with the law after the next. He's lucky Spurrier lets that **** slide.
He didn't impress me that much. He's mobile, but that's about it.

So Willy Korn is automatically the best QB in the state now that Harper is benched?
:falldownlaugh:
From what Ive seen of both QBs, Garcia >>> Korn as of right now.

Dude, he got tackled by a 63 year old referee who wasn't wearing pads...I don't want him.
