Going to be in San Francisco next Monday and was wondering if anyone can recommend any bars that will be showing the Monday night game against Arizona? Staying in Union Square area so looking for one near there.

You have Lefty O'Douls which is just of Union Square, quite a nice bar with lots of sports memorabilia up also has a piano bar for a wee sing song laters if you like that kinda thing. Just one street down from there you have Union Square Sports Bar which will definetly be showing the game, infact it will be showing just about any game that is on, although not recommended if your taking your missus!

If you happne to be down the wharf around that time your best bet would be Knuckles sports bar / restaurant, although I found it to be more a touristy place.

Another fairly good sports bar I have been in was Green's, just get a taxi to Polk and Broadway and you should see it, fairly small but it gets busy on game days, although its not the closet to Union Square. If you feel ok afters you can have a walk through broadway tunnel and get to the other side and indulge in some of those bars where the d@mn women cant keep there clothes on...not that i did of course..I just went in for a drink.....I was thirsty..:whistling:

Down the Haight- Ashbury district I found the Kezar bar to be good and as a added bonus the old Kezar stadium is right across the road!!

Hope this helps

Jillian's is also a good bar with a giants screen. It is atr 4th and Mission, three blocks from Union Square. I think I'm going to the Union Square Sports Bar. If you're looking to watch the game with other forty niner fans, let me know and we'll meet up there.
