I'm surprised the Bills and Raiders aren't options.

I voted for Packers, but I think the Bills will be right there with them, and the Raiders won't be much better if at all.

I really don't see the raiders as a terrible team with Moss completely healthy. They have a good running game and a good o-line. Their defense looks to be improving.

I simply forgot the Bills.

My vote goes to the Raiders.

If I'm not mistaken, the OC has been out of the league for over a decade.

I don't know, I think only time will whose the most pathetic out of the Texans, Jets, and Packers.

The Packers will be bad, but Favre alone is good enough to will them to a couple extra W's. And the Jets at least ADDRESSED their offensive line, something the Texans should be scrutinized more for.

With a crappy team around him, Favre's gonna be "willing" many INT's to earn some extra L's!

Packers. AJ Hawk is doing nothing. Their line looks to be trash. Their skll guys are almost all going downhill rapidly. If I was a Packer fan, I think the only thing I'd be able to look forward too is Favre setting one more record... INTs :thud:

But, who knows... Maybe they manage to turn it around somehow and all of us that voted Packers will have egg on our face.

I must say that Green Bay should have this honor in 2006! Coach Favre has made some poor decisions on not allowing his backup QB any quality playing time during the pre season. The Packer fans have been all caught up in believing that the QB they have is the 2nd coming of Joe Montana. As long as they live in this fantasy, the Packers of Green Bay will dwindle away faster than the skills of their QB/GM/Head Coach Mr.Favre!:football:

28th ranked Offense '05.
29th ranked Defense '05

There QB situation is

And did they do anything in the draft to improve, not from what I saw.

I think Buffalo had no improvement in the off season and will actually take steps back to be the worst team in the league this year.

im going to go out on the "DIDT SEE IT COMING" limb

and say the KC Cheifs fall off the face of the earth this year

i think they are a few key injuries away from being 2-14

i also think pittsburg will be down this year

but i also must admit that i also think that the 49ers are also a few injuries away from having a worse season than last year because i dont think our Defense will stop anyone

I agree with Krueg. Coach Favre will find it difficult to put together a winning season while he's burdened with showing understudy McCarthy the ropes. If General Manager Favre is patient with the understudy, then maybe there will be some success, but as long as A. Rodgers is hanging around being a pest, King Favre will have to focus on laying down the law in Green Bay...and spreading dead ducks all over Lambeau from his rear end.

now what have they done to make you think that??? lost Abraham, Martin, Law, Mawai, and Fabini plus a very motivational HC
It's more of a gut feeling, notice I'm not trying to pass it off as fact, merely an opinion. I've got this feeling that the line is much better and that Pennington and Coles will light it up, along with..:flex: Kevan Barlow running with a chip on his shoulder.

I had to vote for the jets, no matter how good there line will be in a couple years, they still have rookies starting at the most important two spots on the line, LT and C, not to mention one of our cast offs, Clements is starting a RT for them, he had the single worst game I have ever seen an O-lineman play when we played arizona in mexico, that was admittedly playing at LT, and he should be better on the right side, but the lack of experiance coupled with my intense dislike for Clements leads me to believe that at some point and time they are going to get Pennington killed... and go 3-13, with worst record in the nfl.

He will. As much as I hate Favre, he will have 1 or 2 spectacular games this year and get his team W's. If it wasn't for Favre, I'd pick them to go 1-15, 2-14. They are terrible, yet its never talked about on the big sports shows. It's like they avoid the subject.

They didn't? They drafted Mario, Demeco Ryans, signed Moulds and Putzier etc. They did a lot this offseason.

They added playmakers on defense and an established WR in Moulds for sure, but they hardly addressed their 0-line, their glaring, hurtful, biggest problem by far last year. They spent like a 3rd round pick on a guy who probably won't play this year, and signed a no-namer in FA. I hope Carr gets a patented butt pad every Sunday in his locker.

I think they chose back-to-back O-linemen in the begining of round 3 in Charles Spencer and Eric Winston. I can't imagine two 3rd round rookies contributing to much this year though.

Spencer is the starting LT. Winston won't play much though.

The "No-Namer" they signed is Mike Flanagan, who is a darn good center. They also signed Ephriam Salaam, who is a good back-up OT who is familiar with Denver's blocking schemes. Kubiak also signed a couple more Denver cast offs with CB Roc Alexander (just-a-guy), and Ron Dayne (who could be good for them in short yardage situations).

I think HOU is on their way up, whereas teams like GB, NYJ, and NO are dealing with major roster overhauls that will set them back this year. Look for those three to be 1-2-3 in the draft.

Front office made some stupid decisions to go sign Kitna and McCown. Both #2 qbs in this league.

SFmiraje
09-05-2006, 10:38 AM
1-Jets...pennington has nothing, they want to run 4 rb's to cover for Martin, their defense is crap, and they got a new coach that is playing with leftovers to see if they can do anything before pulling off the overhaul

1b-Packers...could prove me wrong, but I don't think they can do anything with a poor defense, an extremely suspect o-line, and a running game that I could stop by myself. That and Favre thinking he has to do everything by himself and tossing a ton of INT's again...but as stated, could prove me wrong

3-Bills...only two weapons, McGahee and Lee Evans. And then squat after that. Decent LB corp, but nothing in the secondary or D-line to help out

4-Browns...again, could prove me wrong, but doubt that they'll have that great a season with a no touchdown RB in Droughns...a QB that is suspect in Frye, and a TE that hasn't played 6 games in two years and is overrated, and no one in the secondary that i'm scared of other than maybe Baxter.

5-Raiders...Aaron Brooks at QB, no defense. Anything else need to be said???

6-Rams...Although Stephen Jackson and Holt are gonna tear it up, they don't have enough of a defense to prevent the score

7-Saints...still not enough to turn it around, even with Brees/Horn/McCallister/Bush...o-line is too weak and WR's aren't anything special

8-Lions...although I like the Lions offense now with Martz leading the way and Jones/Roy being two amazing players and with Kitna being good enough not to screw things up too much...the rest of the offense isn't enough to hold up and their defense is gonna be on the field too much to continue good play

9-Houston...no offense to the Texans, but nothing better than 6-10 and an issue with the o-line and now the running game keep them from doing all that great. However, I think last year was an abberation and they're better than 2-14, just not much better right now. With this pick, they can trade for a good o-lineman or draft a potential stud on the o-line.

10-Titans...not bad offense (Vince Young over-hyped like no tomorrow, most over-hyped player I've seen in the draft in years) and a potentially very opportunistic defense...5-11 or 6-10 and a top 10 pick...that and we have no idea if it's gonna be Collins, Volek, Young, or ??? throwing it as well as Brown, Henry, White, Payton, scooby, santa, sonic, mario, luigi, toadstool, megaman, or whoever running the ball.

13-SF...we go 7-9, surprise a helluva lot of people, Gore rips it up, Smith is adequate this year, and we go D-Line with this pick, grabbing a monster NT to jump into the line and cover holes...Spencer becomes a very good CB, Parrish returns to form after injury, the LB corp once again becomes one of the better ones in the league, and the O-line stays healthy, except for maybe Jonas, with Kwame replacing him on the left side and showing that he can be a force on the line. (all speculation with Kwame, but I'm hoping for the best...Baas becomes a good RG also)

16-Cardinals...the offense is just too much to be a bad team, but not better than 8-8, maybe 9-7. Edge shows that he really is a good RB and makes the oline look better than it really is, Leinart takes over in Week 9 and brings them back up to above records, and the defense shows that they really, really suck

28-Steelers...only reason they make it this late in the draft is the defense and Hines Ward. Only reason

29-Seahawks...not good enough this year to get to the Super Bowl, lose to the Panthers in the Playoffs...Alexander's week 6 injury made up by Hasselbeck having a record breaking year (yardage, pass attempts/completions, and completion percentage)

30-Colts...my SB pick, but thinking now that the running game isn't good enough to get them to the SB...not until next year

31-Broncos...that **** RB situation falls apart in the biggest game of the year...Cutler is named starter for next year and Plummer released in offseason

32-Panthers...Keyshawn proves to be the missing piece on the offense with Williams/Foster staying healthy and both cracking 1000 yards. Defense #1 in league with Peppers & Jenkins both topping 10+ sacks. Secondary one of the best in the league
