they are starting the games earlier this year
last 2 years they started on Thanksgiving
I hope it is a shootout and not a 9-3 game since both have suspect defenses.

I am at a sports bar watching it (since I don't get NFL-N and it's my day off and I wanted to see the game for the heck of it.) They have NFL-N HD here but a lot of the TVs are on NFL-N SD, and HD lags behind SD, so I'm stuck watching SD because why watch in HD when everyone cheers seconds before I see the play?
Minor griping I guess.

Why can't they just show the game normally instead of having some fat *** argue with TD about running backs and QBs? It's not even worth it to watch the nfl.com live stream since you get more of Duke's fat *** yapping away than actual game footage.

Lol, Quinn is only looking half decent due to the Browns running game, the dink and dunk play calling, and the fact that he's playing against a trash defense with no pass rush to speak of and many of their starters out. Can't wait to see him choke against a half decent defense.

Granted, Quinn is probably the better chance to win, but still, he doesn't play defense, too.

DA wasn't the problem. He's played better of late anyway. Their defense has been non-existent for a few years now. And their other offensive weapons haven't been so good, the Oline (which was a big strength last year) has been a problem too.

brandon marshal was interviewed afterwards and said he had a black and white glove he was gonna hold up as a symbol of unity between blacks and whites since he was so inspired by Obama.

Quinn wasn't the prob...Winslow was...
Quinn wasn't the problem? I recall Winslow saving his (Quinn) *** with a few pretty good catches. Did you see the multiple terrible throws that Quinn made even though they were dink and dunk passes? Completely missing receivers. He's just lucky he was playing an injured Broncos defense that is one of the worst in the league even with their starters in.

Yes, and I also remember Winslow II's fumble that pretty much cost them the game.
Quinn and Winslow both had their share of mistakes in that game, he missed some throws, but Winslow II choked big in the last few minutes.
I think Quinn is a *****, but he had a VERY good performance considering it was his 1st career start... regardless of being against an injured/crappy Bronco's D, it's still an NFL-caliber defense, and there are still starting QB's who wouldn't have been able to do what he did.
