View Full Version : Did Jerry Rice ever wear a face shield?

I'm trying to settle an argument with a friend of mine. Do any of you recall if Jerry wore an L.T. style face shield on his helmet at anytime of his career? I say no. And if true do you have a photo? Thanks for the responses.

I'm about 14 months late on this but actually there was 1 game in 1989 towards the end of the season vs the Saints that Rice did in fact wear a dark face shield. If you look at his 1990 Action Packed football card you'll see your proof. I found a set of those on eBay where you can see the Rice card.
