This is an argument I am seeing all over the place so I want to take a poll of the wisest fans in football. Which team is better right now?

Titans in a close one, and here's why......
New York has better skill position guys, but the difference between these two teams is in the back seven on defense and special teams. Tennessee's LB's and DB's are a lot better than New York's IMO, and Tennessee has an outstanding K and P.
Chicago putched a shutout against Tennessee's run O yesterday, in a game that featured wind and a brief snowstorm, and still lost. And it could have been worse if Tennessee doesn't fumble going in.
The little dirty secret about Tennessee is that the Titans offense is a little bit better than people give it credit for being. They have a Top 5 OL, a top notch RB combo, and two VERY good tight ends in Crumpler and Scaife. This makes playaction very effective. Everyone knows WR is the weakness, but they get a lot of 1-1 opportunities because the safeties really have to key Johnson and the TE's.
It would be a really good game.

Out of the games I've seen the Giants look like the better team.

I'll take the Giants (Better O-Line, D-Line and QB). It was an easy decision for me cause i don't even have the Titans as the best team in the AFC.

As in lose a game or two, you would be correct.
Tennessee has now won 12 straight regular season games, and San Diego is the only team that has beaten them in the last calendar year (Week 14 2007 in OT and a tough WC round defeat at the Q). And yet, people still ask if they are for real.

Who do you think in the AFC is better...............and don't say Pittsburgh......they are gonna get their QB's killed with that terrible OL.

Giants, they have a better overall team and an actual QB. The titan's run will come to a halt sooner or later. You can't win it all without a QB, unless you have the ravens D in 2000. I've seen the titans squeak by quite a few games already, eventually their luck will run out.

The Giants are the champs of last season but when we are talking about this season you have to go with the Titans.
I like the Giants better but if the two teams played each other I think the Titans would win.

It's funny how when the season started so-called "experts" were picking the Giants to finish in 3rd or last and miss the playoffs. The standings are actually the exact opposite of what they predicted
Right,
Some geniuses picked the Titans to finish last in the AFC South THIS YEAR.
Once again, the pundits and most of the fans never have played football. Those of us who have know that the more physical team will win 90% of the time, as long as they aren't turnover prone and play good special teams.
Outside of Indy and St. Louis, an offensive juggernaut has not won the Super Bowl since before the salary cap. Denver was a good O with TD, but they won with an old school running game and causing turnovers on D.
D still wins championships. You have to have an opportunistic offense that can close the deal, but D wins.

The Titans are pretty good I have to give em credit... Which I didnt before, but beating Baltimore's tough D, beating GB despite the fact they were playing their worst game, and then using KERRY COLLINS to beat Chicago was awesome

I have hated the Giants since they got lucky in the 1990 title game against the Niners.
The Niners were still the better team.
My hate for the Giants is on par with my hate for the cowgirls.
I don't understand these fake Niner fans who like the Giants as a second team and root for them to win.
Unfortunately the giants are better since they have the better QB but I will be blessed with joy like the Obama supporters if the Titans beat the the Giants in the Super Bowl if they meet.
Jeff Fisher deserves a ring for all the crap he had to put up with the team playing in multiple stadiums in the late 90's and the mike jones tackle in Super Bowl 34.
Nothing beats seeing a New York team fall flat on its you know what in a big game.

Tiki and Shockey probably pick the Titans though.

Giants, an Eli Mental Lapse aside that team is dangerous all around. The Titans are good but they aren't scaring people like you'd think a 9-0 team would.
It's not like last year where you doubted any team could truely beat the Patriots at this point. The Titans you look at and realize that a bounce one way or another has been determining their games as they have had alot of close games come down to one or two plays...

Shannon Sharpe said the Giants O line are susceptible to inside pressure when Shawn Rogers had that huge game against them on Monday night.
Just imagine what Albert Haynesworth could do.

Each is the best is their respected division but I have to go with the champs: giants.

Rodgers isn't exactly the only good (or even the best) DT the Giants have faced so far this season. Everyone in that game for the Giants had a down day, so I'm not sure how much we can hold that game as evidence that the Giants are weak up the middle.
Besides, Shannon Sharpe is the last person I'd be listening to for an analysis of the Giant's O-line.
Shannon Sharpe is the last person I would listen to on anything. :banghead:

It probably won't happen
it could be NY Giants vs NY Jets or Eli vs Peyton
I prefer Giants vs Colts.
Colts could probably win in TN since they know how to beat the Colts and I doubt Lendale White and Chris Johnson would have another huge game against them.
Nobody in the AFC West poses a challenge and the Steelers have a lot of flaws so that opens things up for the Jets and the Colts.
