Edwards or Singletary

I think Edwards is the better coach. However, he bugs the crap out of me so I would rather have Singletary.

With KC's GM stepping down after the season Herman Edwards coaching future in KC is highly questionable.

IF and this is only speculation but IF he became available. would you want him over Singletary?

personaly I'd take Herm without even thinking but thas just me.

I'll take my chances with Singletary. Edwards has a lot of experience, but he has never really had any dominating defenses or offenses I can remember vividly in the success he's had. At best they've been decent...and the height of his success came with the Jets with Chad Pennington, Curtis Martin, Laveranues Coles, Santana Moss, John Abraham, and the rest of that early 2000's unit. Since then he hasn't really done anything notable.

Herm hasn't done a thing in KC....yeah, I think he's a decent coach, but his stock is pretty low right now, and should be.

IMO Edwards has more football knowledge and coaching ability in his little finger then Singletary will probably ever have.

Singletary is an easy to like coach because he gets upset when we as fans get upset. He seems like a 'regular' guy that just cares about football and wants to win. Well the problem is exactly that, he's just a passionate guy that loves football and wants to win, but does that make him a great coach?

Edwards has bascially had one of the lowest talent filled teams ever since taking over that team. Other then Gonzalez and Johnson(overhyped crybaby) who have they had?

Bottom line, if you take a poll of all the owners, gm's and coaches in the league who THEY would rather have as coach I promise it'll be no less then 95% of them taking Edwards over Singletary because they know that Passion and Emotion dont win football games.
