Either way, Penn State is in for a beat down, just like the rest of their crappy conference (Big 10).

I'm actually not very impressed with Taylor Mays. He is not a very good tackler (he got run over by the QB from PSU) and even the last fumble was caused by #7 (sorry, don't know his name) not Taylor Mays. Penn State is losing the game more than USC is winning it. HBut you can argue and ***** all you want. Yes this game would be Ridiculously different if this game were played on a neutral field, and if they played at Penn Stae the score would most likely be the opposite, since Penn State is unstoppable at home, just as USC is at their house.

I'm done, considering you guys will just keep arguing over something I'm not gonna bother wasting my time.

Only thing we have in common is we are Niner fans... :friends:

A team might play a little better at a different field, but to say Penn State would play so much better that the score would be reversed, is just crazy. Their field would account for about a 60 point swing? I doubt it.

He will probably do amazing in the combine. Get all the stats he needs to move him into the top 15. but it will take him a while and a couple growing pains to make his transition to the pros. He lacks tackling technique and is not a coverage guy. He plays like a linebacker with out the good tackleling. Overrated in my Opinion.

If he's really that big why doesn't he just throw on 10 pounds and play LB since a lot of the gripes about him seem to be about his coverage.

He can't tackle. He can hit, but his tackling technique needs a lot of work.

So he cant tackle and he's not good in coverage? Why is this guy even predicted to play in the NFL?

It may actually be a good game. You really cant compare Pen State to either of those teams. I always thought Pen state was overrated as hell after I saw them play Ohio st. and struggled to beat them, cause Ohio St. sucks too.

Mays, Lewis, Clements, Harris sounds like one of the most physical secondary in the NFL!

Doesn't mean much just like we had "the most exp secondary in the NFL" this past yr...its about making plays...and I have my doubts with that lineup...

I'm only mildly concerned about the secondary. We have some glaring holes on D and still managed to rank 13th in yards/gm. Those holes do need to be filled, but I would much rather have an offensive line.

I have been really thinking about this. Im torn between drafting an OL and a DL. Since the offence will be a running attack, I think we should draft an OL. However, we do have some big holes in defense. I would really love to draft a mean NT. I have been very concerned about the pass rush. Draft either one of those in the first round and I will be happy.

Im assuming we would draft a pass rusher 1st round, land a good safety in the 2nd round, and then maybe draft OL..

Most likely we will buff up our OL in free agency...

Oh yeah I forgot about Free agency. That would definitly make sense. I both want a good pass rush and a good OL. If we do go the Free agency route for OL and draft good defensive players in the draft, I will feel good about the upcoming season. Now that I think about it, there are many good OL players in the Free agency market. Hopefully, we will grab a couple of them.

ABC/ESPN absolutely refuses to accept anything other than this being one of the greatest bowl games ever, one in which USC far and above showed its dominance.

I'm not buying it ESPN. We'd rather you not hype this crap up to epic proportions.
