who's gonna win this big game?

I'm going with Terrelle Pryor and the Buckeyes!!

Texas will win. I dont know who I want to win though. I hate OSU but, I am sick of people thinking that the Big 12 is better than the SEC.

I always seem to cheer for the Horns... don't know where that's from...

and I normally don't like OSU... and normally feel like they are too slow to play out anyone not from the Big 10... but I must say I love watching Pryor... especiall with a healthy Beanie

should be interesting for sure

This game will depend heavily on what happens in the 1st quarter.

Should Texas get off to a hot start, OSU will not be able to hang with them, but, if Texas stalls on offense and OSU plays good ball control offense with timely play action, then Texas could find itself one dimensional and struggling, like what happened in Lubbock when they were just plain flat for the first half and could neither run the ball nor stop the run.

I don't think Texas' defense has seen an offense this physical, who can run the ball with power all season, conversely, I don't think OSU has faced an offense quite like what Texas brings to the table in terms of speed and diversity. The OSU D-line vs. Texas O-line will be huge, too.

On the other side of the ball, Orakpo and Kindle need to have monster nights stopping the run and collapsing around the QB, preventing him from getting outside.

If OSU brings their best physical play, it could be a great contest, it could also turn ugly real quick, that's why they play 'em, lol.

I just hope nobody gets injured, I want a good clean game.

I hope not, he needs another year, one as "the man" makes all the difference, and so many miss out on it.

Texas should win but underdogs have been playing great this year. I think only USC took care of business and dominated as the favorite so far.

He did say that a 5 sack performance might sway him, too.

Of course, it's not like he's had one of those yet.

I think he will find out that he has a great chance to improve from a late day one to an early first round pick with another year.

I am definitely watching this game tonight, mainly for the fact that 2 of the people are on my list as draft picks for the 49ers ....... Jenkins and Orakpo and it will be cool to see how they respond to the "big" game. Also there are tons of players that could fall into the later rounds as well. Also I'm an Ohio State Fan =d.

Texas played horrible today, the rust really showed, I thought they had got it going in the third QB Ohio ST. defense looked completely defeated but then they would just make a stupid mistake to set them back. This was by far Texas worst game offensively yet McCoy still threw for 400 yards, I was very disappointed by the performance today cause Texas really didn't play like they have all year.

How does SC have more claim to the title than Texas someone please explain this to me they ****in lost to Oregon St. That little running back killed them on his own. The only team out there that can say they deserved a shot at the title is Utah because they straight dominated Alabama. Certainly correct and Utah is the only team that has a shot for a split title.

But USC did pummel OSU with the better QB playing for the majority of the game.

Compare that to a Texas team that flat or not didn't showcase nearly as well against the same team.

And oh we will see what happens on Thursday but the Big 12 could be compared to the Big 10 a few years ago.

Dont get me wrong Texas played like crap yesterday but you also have to take into account that it was early in the season for a freshman QB to face a team as good as USC also everyone is forgetting Beanie wells didn't play that game. Big 12 teams have also beat each other up way too much during the season, pretty much every game was for the 1 ranking it took its tow on OK. State and Texas tech loosing Crabtree and Bryant. You're right, they don't have any claim to the title...BUT I believe USC could beat any team besides Florida in the country.

Besides Oregon State? They had their chance with one of the weakest strength of schedule's of any top 25 team. They failed. Now you guys keep talking about a split champion, flat out NO that is a terrible idea. If Utah wants to be considered among the nations best play some out of conference games that mean something. USC at least did venture off their coast for a big game against the Ohio State of Overrated University but Texas played an aweful game yesterday and still beat them.

The Big 10 is down & the PAC is weak, if you are not in the SEC or Big 12 you need some big out of conference games and to run the table through your own conference if you want to be considered for the top two spots. I'm tired of hearing all the griping and whining, one day we will have a playoff system in college then everyone will cry that they didn't make the top 8 or whatever the cut off is.

Bottom line is the top 2 teams in the country are squaring off and the winner will be the national champion in my eyes and in enough of the people voting opinions to make it official.

Well, Ohio State isn't the same team it was at the beginning of the year either but you don't hear them crying about their loss. Every team gets better as the year goes on, that's why most teams schedule warm up games in the beginning of the season. I fail to see how losing those people makes USC a better team this year.

None of that stuff matters. None of the rankings matter either, because they are all bogus. Its all hype, and tends to favor offensive teams. None of the teams above are that great on D.

I just watch the games.

USC D is dominant. The best in the nation. Most of the season our O has been inconsistent. Sometimes good. Sometimes not that good. Our OL is not as dominant this year as it has in years past, but its gotten better. The O has finally hit its stride, and just crushed a pretty decent Penn State D.

USC would crush any of the teams you mentioned above. The game(s) would likely be over by half time. They are not even close.

The idea that a team with 1 loss is better than another team with 1 loss is foolish and devoid of logic altogether. And I'm not attacking you, I'm attacking this ridiculous BCS formula.

It's ONE GAME. Any team can (and HAS) had a bad game this year, Florida and Oklahoma included. If it wasn't for Florida getting ANOTHER chance to boost their BCS average with the SEC title game, they wouldn't even be playing for a Nat'l Championship.

Oregon St. caught USC sleepin'. When it comes to big games that matter the most... USC is on another level than any other team.

Texas was the #3 team in the country... and it took a coverage breakdown in the last seconds of the game to beat an Ohio St. team that the Trojans' humiliated earlier in the year.

OSU was still the same team defensively! Wells didn't even play most of the second half against texas. The only good Pryor do was run the ball and that one catch, other then that he was making ****ty throws. He tried running against usc but the Defense was too fast for him.

I saw both games, all 3 teams! Usc's Defense would hold texas under 20 and USC's Offense would score more then 20 against texas D.

If I recall correctly Sanchez has played prior to this year when booty was hurt also he's been around for what three years now. He got yo watch Booty for a couple of years before he took over you cant compare that to a Freshman's second game. And once again its easy for your defense to look good when your playing the a crappy team every week.
