Granted, he's only been there for a while, and been the full-time starter only this one year, but I think it's pretty arguable he already is...he's already doubled the franchise's all-time playoff victories, and has the distinct possibility of taking them to their first Super Bowl and their first championship game since 1947.

What's wrong with Neil Lomax?

Wasn't he the first QB to throw for 4000 yards in a season?

No...he played in the 80s.

Google says Joe Namath was the first 4000 yard passer.

I would put Neil Lomax and Jim Hart ahead of Warner

Since the merger...I'd say yes. Especially considering Arizona's lack of a running attack.

It's tempting to say yes.

Jim Hart has the franchise records, and was their QB during their only other really good seasons.

However, Warner's stats over the last two seasons blow away the best season by Hart, but that is tempered by the fact the NFL as a whole is much more pass happy these days, rules favor the offense much more than in the 70s, and nearly all QB stats are in general higher these days than in the past, making impossible to make a direct comparison.

All time, whos to say, the game has evolved so much... Of my lifetime, yes.

Its a push in my eyes. His first 2 years in AZ cancel out the last two unless they win the SB. IMHO.

In fairness to Kurt, during that time he was under Dennis "QB Carousel" Green. Green could never make up his mind about which QB to use, even benching McCown after a winning streak to go with Shaun King, then John Navarre.

Yeah being under Green was a disaster, which is why I cant decide. He is leading them to the best season they have ever had, which on one had isnt saying much, but when you consider the franchise its huge.
