Tony Gonzalez:

Larry Johnson:

Tony wanted out last year too but was not traded before the deadline. Larry Johnson just ripped into the Chiefs on a radio show and basically asked to play on Dallas or somewhere back east where his family is.

What do you think will happen to them?

I'd say they could get a 3rd or so for Gonzo and a 4th for Larry at most.

They're ours!

Gonna suck for Haley, comes, at least seems like he's coming in, and his two best players want out.

If he's learned anything from his days with Parcells he probably would have gotten rid of those guys anyway.

I hope they both land in Dallas with fat contract extensions and signing bonuses.

Gonzo-Packers almost happened this past offseason, they just couldn't come to a match on the trade details before the deadline.

I think the Eagles should make a push for him

ESPN just reported that Tony Gonzales has said through his agent that he does in fact want to stay with the Chiefs. It is ESPN so who knows how credible it is.

Gonzalez: I'm willing to stick with Chiefs

KAPOLEI, Hawaii - The headline reads "Gonzalez still wants to be traded.
There's only one problem: Kansas City Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez says it isn't true. In an exclusive interview with FOXSports.com, Gonzalez said that a Yahoo.com story published Wednesday morning misrepresented his stance toward the organization. Gonzalez said he is amenable to returning for a 13th NFL season in Kansas City and won't know whether he will ask for a trade until seeing what personnel and coaching moves the franchise makes this offseason.

There goes the Gonzo rumor. Too bad, my good friend is a diehard Chiefs fan and I'm always looking for more ammo to talk some trash

Gonzalez still has some good years left. I'd hate to see him waste his final years in KC.

LJ is done.

Since we have Raye as our Offensive coordinator, who wants to put money down that we grab Gonzales and switch either Vernon Davis or Delanie Walker to Fullback.

I wouldn't mind Delanie at fullback with duel TE sets with Davis and Gonzo.

I doubt it will happen though.

Even if Tony wanted to leave Kansas City, I respect his decision. He's earned. Johnson has not.

I think maybe LJ will end up Dallas. Jerry Jones will take him.

Marion Barber. Felix Jones. Tashard Choice.

I certainly hope not. Since Raye is supposedly so good for TEs, why bring in a TE instead of developing our own potentially great TE who we've invested so much in?

Not only that, but I can see KC wanting a 2nd for Gonzo. We need all our picks, esp our early rounders!

I agree. I feel Gonzo's decision is mature, as he wants to feel he fulfilled his decade long goal, perhaps childhood goal; to win a Super Bowl, before he retires. I'm sure he struggles leaving as he loves KC, his teammates, coaches and the fans. But he knows what he wants and is set out to get it before the door shuts on him.

However, Johnson. I really don't like him. He seems to lack any remorse in his decision, and seems to believe he is a future HOFer who everyone should want, and the Chiefs just don't admire and respect what they got. But he's truly a mediocre HB who had a good season a couple years ago, but only because he had a record breaking amount of carries, that with any other good HB, would most likely get them close to or over 2,000 yards rushing. When I was bored, I even checked by using his amount of carries with other runningbacks stats for the year '06, and many HBs would have had 2,000 yards.

Another thing about Tony Gonzalez is, he was very respectable about wanting to leave. He said if I dont get traded ill still play as hard as I can. And he didnt disappoint this season. Once again the few bright spots on the Chiefs were Dwayne Bowe and Tony Gonzalez. IF he does make it out of KC, I wouldnt be shocked to see him on the Giants, or even the Patriots.
