Yes. However, he will most likely not fall to the 10th spot.

Mays would have been sweet!

What's wrong with black text? It's easier to read! I hope this trend dies!

I agree. Red is impossible to see.

If Michael Crabtree falls to the #10 overall pick, do we snatch him up? I wouldn't be dissapointed if we did. However i would like to see Malcom Jenkins or B.J. Raji. Either way i believe we're going to strike gold with this #1 pick. Too bad Taylor Mays is staying back.. THAT would've been my absolute #1 pick:sfhelmet:

Malcolm Jenkins all day. We can get Ron Brace in the 2nd round. By the way, no to Taylor Mays. He is a liability in coverage and hits with his head down which will cause him to get embarassed by a shify back like Westbrook.

Taylor Mays is the next Roy Williams. He isn't worth the #10 pick.

Very well put my friend!!! Couldn't agree with you more. Play action drop shots over top of him all day.

The fact of the matter is, the 49ers really can't screw up the #10 pick.

Tackles - Monroe, Oher, Smith, Smith
CB - Jenkins
OLB - Brown, Orakpo
QB - Stafford, Sanchez
WR - Crabtree, Maclin
RB - Moreno
NT - Raji
ILB - Curry

While I'd prefer certain players over others, I don't think the 49ers "go wrong" with any of these guys.

Seattle is coveting Crabtree. He's one of a few sure things in this draft and he won't make it past them.

There is a lot of flux right now with potential top 10 draft picks. After the combine it may become a little more clear, but as of now we can only guess as to who will fall to us at #10. It's a waste of time to put energy into it right now. It's way too early.

It's actually scary with the Housh rumors if Seattle picks up both Crabtree and Houshmenzadah, maybe lands McCoy in the top of the 2nd, gets a healthy o-line back and all of a sudden they have a terrifying offense.

How is he Roy Williams ? He doesn't blow coverage assignments. You can be good in coverage without having great ball skills.

See I think if they get TJ they will pass on Crabtree and go after Curry or an OT. My hope is that they pass on Crabtree, Jax makes a trade for Boldin and Al Davis is not wowed by the lack of speed of Crabtree and he falls into our laps. Now crazier things have happened so I dont' want to hear it can't happen....

with 4 outstanding OTs this year, I wouldn't be surprised to see at least 3 in the top 10 maybe even all 4. through in Curry, Jenkins, Baji, Sanchez, Stafford and don't forget the wild card, the one guy who comes out of no where to be in the top 10 and we got ourselves a crabtree.

Just a little prayer. Now remember the Cards went to the Superbowl, anything can happen.

I dont know if thats good or bad, Roy Williams SS was good early on in his career, but the last 2 years he has sucked.

LoL. Ya, those 3 deep balls he gave up all year long really proves that he can be duped easily in coverage. Besides, USC Safety's are just a product of "the system" and all the talent around them. Just look at Troy Polamalu

I would be very pleased with any of the players in bold. I wouldn't be disappointed at all with any of the other players listed though. They are all talented.

So you wouldn't be very pleased with crabtree? Just curious of why?

Crabtree most likely won't make it past Seattle, who is in desperate need of a quality receiver.

Comparing Polamalu to Mays is just downright idiotic. There is no comparison. He is a big hitter, but he isn't what you uys make him up to be. Look at the another safety from USC, Darnell Bing. He was known as a hitter in school, but hasn't done anything in the league. As for his coverage, would you bring him down to the line of scrimmage and have him man up on an NFL slot wr? I know I wouldn't. By the way, how many INTs did he have last year? A whopping zero and a grand total of 4 for his career. Yeah, that is he trademark of a safety that has great ball hawk skills. We get that same production from Mark Roman.

I would take Crabtree in a second if he fell to us, but it's a highly unlikely scenario. It's a tough call right now. DL or QB. If Sanchez is available it's hard to justify drafting DL, if only from a value perspective. Both are potentially risky positions when it comes to the draft. It just comes down to the fact that QB is a skill position, and DL is not. The down side is that Sanchez won't help the team right away. He will need at least 2 years to develop.

I could see Seattle maybe going OT or DT (Raji)... those are both needs

but yeah Crabtree makes a lot of sense too

and Crabtree won't make it past Oakland

lmfao ya that is for sure.:banghead: Jmar, dmc, and the crab(nice starting lineup)

No they don't their WR's where just hurt last year, they have Branch and Ingram, so I can see them passing on Crabtree and taking a defensive player in the draft

they definitely need wrs. branch is a decent receiver but has never had a 1,000 yard season. Bobby Engram is a FA and 36. Apparently Branch is the only receiver guaranteed to start next year.

here's an article that explains their situation at receiver:

Receivers will be a top priority for Seahawks next season

NO, we don't take him. He won't be available anyways, but even if he were, I don't think we take him. We can't spend that kind of money on a receiver! It's not a need, and is never worth that kind of money. I keep saying it, we won't pass on Oher if he's available!

So what happened, did we get this guy in the 3rd round or what? -I heard that liquor/adult store robbery before draft day knocked his stock WAY down.

-They say Crabs was like traveling with his entourage of 20 gangsta thugs, and they all trashed that famous porn shop in Queens called "Chubby's".

Crabs also said some pretty mean things about Graham Harrell on The Arsenio Hall Show (that Graham had a ****y voice, and loved the company of 50 year old dudes), what a ****ing Diva.
