Let me first start off by saying I dont think the Cardinals will trade Boldin--- But if I'm wrong (stranger things have happened ) I wouldnt be surprised to see a Boldin- Larry Johnson trade. KC just hired Haley today as their new Head Coach and Boldin would supply a nice WR corner stone in KC, Paired with Bowe. As for the Cards, trade makes sense too, Hightower is the scat-back with speed, E. James is unhappy and getting ready to cash the retirement checks. Larry Johnson doesnt fit the Pass-first off. that the cards have been running, but lets remember the old Off. coordinator is now gone.
Would this potential trade help or hurt the Cards in 09? I think it would be a wash. Larry can be a beast at RB but Boldin has tourched the Niners too.

No way in hell will the Cards trade Boldin for that POS! He's got way to much baggage!
Wrong place to put this junk too!

I would LMFAO if that happened! That would be another thing to justify calling them the Tards.

larry johnson has almost no trade value.
near 30 year old rb coming off 2 straight injury seasons with a giant contract. nobody wants that.
the chiefs would be glad to unload him to anyone for any draft pick they are willing to give. they would even trade him to the broncos if they could.

in order for this to happen the chiefs would have to send a conditional high draft pick along with LJ for boldin. Like say if Johnson rushes for over a 1000 yards next year the cards only get a 2/3rd round pick, but if LJ is a bust, guarenteed first round pick for AZ. and no team would ever make this kind of deal. WONT HAPPEN

LJ is crap, he is overrated and washed up. No way Cardinals just trade Boldin for LJ there would need to be significant draft picks involved b/c LJ has little value.

I don't see why someone would trade Boldin for LJ unless LJ is coming with some picks. LJ now has injury problems, is old, has lots of carries throughout is career, and has off-the-field issues. If anything, they are better off, trading Boldin for some picks and use one of them to draft a runningback.

The Cards are a pass-first team...
So Espn/NFL network are reporting that Boldin and the Cards are growing farther and farther apart.... the Cards also lost their OC, Warner is a free agent. James is run-down (Larry is no youngster either I know) but its better getting left forced to trade Boldin post draft. It was just a "what-if" question. Cards Were a passing team. But a lot is changing in AZ. Suns went from a high scoring machine to an average pack team with a coaching change. Cards could look a lot different next year!

As long as Fitz is wearing Red, they will ALWAYS be a passing team and should be.

But when your offense has no running game it will not change. Even if they did trade for LJ, they'd still be a passing team. Besides, Boldin for LJ just is stupid. they have to throw in Tony Gonzalez to make it fair :shoot:

even if the cards change their philosophy by becoming more run oriented, larry johnson is still worthless trade wise.
larry johnson is a grand slam.
he is going to turn 30 this year.
has been injured of an on for the past 2 years.
he has a fat contract that nobody wants.
and he is an A-hole.
if the cards want a rb they will draft one or make a run at sproles.
